For some reason these odd question mark tiles keep reappearing on one of my lots in game. Also once these tiles appear i can no long use cas on any floor/wall tiles.

Is there a fix for this, perhaps in a new patch?

This has been reported here as well as MTS & Matys.
it mainly happens to the Museum, the Wolf's house &
the Goth's, if you try & remodel them at all.

EA is aware, not sure there is a fix at this point.
Check the other forums. Written-reg has a lot of
info on this.

That sometimes happens to me when I usually change the color of the design. What I do is do it over as it get a new carpet or whatever your using and recolor it. It should be fixed when you do that.

The Riddler strikes again

Just change the wallpaper/flooring and it should go away (it does for me anyway)/

Hey there.

We are aware of this issue, and it's been duplicated. It's being looked into, and I'll post an update as soon as I have more information.

Thank you so much for weighing in on this. It's been frustrating. I spent forever redoing the Museum and although it would look okay from across the street would revert to the "riddler" tiles zoomed in.

May I be so bold as to suggest you sticky a comment on this problem at the top of this forum? It's a question I see time and time again on multi-forums and it would help to let people know EA is looking into fixing the problem.

Since it is known already I will add what we already know about this issue. It is NOT caused by altering anything in the lot. It takes a couple sim weeks to develop. It can NOT be repaired or resolved by repainting - the effect will return as soon as you log out. It is not caused by any custom content or mods, and is also not limited to one particular graphics card or graphics software.

I am really glad that EA has duplicated this problem and look forward to fixing the problem.

I'm glad it's being looked in to. I have this issue as well and have't modified the building at all. It's very frustrating though...

I bulldozed the lots, and build the exact same houses on them from scratch, and there wasn't a problem.
I think it might be the fact that these houses seem to have some build elements that are not available in the catalog (some railings on the Wolff house, for instance...)
