ROFLOL! I won't pressure you on this, but if you ever find time and feel like it, look back to this page and maybe a kitty will magically appear someday lol!

I went in LV, stole all our simselfs and added them to Grey Meadow , along with the sims that were already there. The world almost filled up, and i was really surprised to see that there was not even a second of lag even with all those sims. I didn't even get any lag when i first loaded the world , when usually things are spawning. I only get a milisecond of freezing when OW cleans up and at 5am when the unicorn is supposed to disappear ( I still haven't located it though)
I was getting notifications for simfests, wildlife was spawning just fine, the attention to detail is amazing, there must be quite a few tombs around ( i found one so far) The buildings are mouthdropping and the descriptions of the lots are hillarious.

I finally played with no issues at all with the new SP, no random crashes or anything. I had set the stories to family and friends only, so i don't really know what have you guys been doing , as i was mostly focusing on skilling up Gemmy. I did run on Regina Sim in the park, chatted her up and later in the week she invited Gemmy to her party. There I found out that Regina had moved in together with one of the locals sims, and Duchy was very pregnant with a local celebrity, and also carried his name so they must have been married at some point. Before switching Sp to show only family and friends, I got a notifications about Ronnie going steady with Auntie, mikitta making enemies right and left again, and the Trussells are in the verge of divorce.

Also one night the house right across Gemmy's got haunted and Alex Trussell was the ghost hunter who came to save the day. After taking Gemmy to the lot , she autonomously kept running behind Alex and trying to "get to know" him, and not letting him do his job.

After all this time Building CC, testing it and having so many issues with SP, I really missed all this drama. I'm so glad to have it back!

I started Gemmy as a starving artist, but once she got enough money she bought her first horse. She did not like her first ride on it at all

R.I.P. my puppy, my friend, I'll always remember. I miss you.

Haha, Gemmy is such a crazy gal! Funny her chasing the ghostbuster around like that! The look on her face while she's riding the horse is priceless. I imagine I'd have a similar look if I were to try and ride a horse again after 35 years. I want to get my daughter some riding lessons but she's not interested. She's so the opposite of me sometimes!

Thanks for uploading your sim Rukaya. When I get Windows I can't wait to try her out. I don't dare do anything still on Mac OS. Yeah, it's THAT touchy! I've got what I've got and I don't dare add or alter more. It's amazing how much borkage I get just creating my own sims. Too bad installing Windows and bringing over my files takes a few hours. That's what's been the holdup. We just need to make time to do it. Some of it being my husband's time--that's the major holdup!

Tangie and Gem wonderful pictures.
Reg sounds like you are having fun. I used the unpopulated LVII to house all of my YAs, also saved it to desk top.
JM Mari is a darling name, I am so glad she is not sick. I used those hormone things when I first got Tabatha. I think it help.
Tangie, Thank you for putting my new alternate sim and her house up. I finally got a chance to check Masonjacksons houses, Costa Mesa, and Sandstone Adobe. No chicken pictures, but I did find dirty laundry in all the bedrooms of Costa Mesa and a plate of spoiled pancakes in the kitchen I was surpised since no one lives there and I haven't even played it yet. Aside from that those 2 houses are really lovely. I had fun building my new house, so I hope to do another one. Maybe slightly larger. That house plan site you gave me has some great ideas. I think I will use more of my store stuff though. It is so hard not to.
Oops, went back and checked , you said Desert Adobe not Sandstone adobe, will have to check that one out too.
Have a great day everyone.

Tangie, re downloaded Desert Adobe, check and there were the chickens. Things are back the way they were, and all is right with world. I need to get more sleep so that I can read more clearly. Well off to start a chicken in the crock pot and do some ironing. It is going to be up in the 90's today so want to get that stuff done early. Then I want to do some checking out of Peaceful Valley Pets, and also decide which house I want to try and build next. Sometime I need to decide which Ya sims to upload next. This week end is going to be busy so don't know when I will be able to start doing this.
Have a great weekend everybody. Love you all.

Thanks Rukaya, I'm glad you like the name. I taught it to her this morning so she's stuck with it. She's shockingly smart! I also gave her one pill already and she just popped it right down. And she let me clip her claws. Wow. I wish Katie were so accomodating. I can't even get at her claws without risking life and limb!

Anyway I was trying to relearn how to install and manage mods. Oh such bother. I'm not sure I will be doing CC after all when I get Windows. Or maybe my second cup of coffee just needs to kick in. I desperately needed a nap but am trying to stay awake and get work done around here. I'm severely dragging. Cup O'Coffee Number 2 please kick in quickly!

Good day to all!

I think we can say this thread is doing its job showcasing user created worlds. Very nice pics Tangie and Gem. I don't want to go the cc route but if inclined to, Tangie's pics would entice me to dl that world. Gem's pic made me decide to check out Hog's ST update to Grey Meadow. I've got it dl'd but not installed yet.

WR, it is fun to go back to worlds not played in recent times. Now, if they would only update themselves I haven't updated LVII yet but don't think it will be difficult to do so.

Speaking of updates, I've actually managed to update LL! The store thread that shares links to content made for LL is wonderful. Tangie, I think I used all the lots you made for LL and put in two homes from Moon Base Delta, Rflong. Dang but LL has too many 1 bedroom homes that aren't easily remodeled, leastway not easy for me to remodel.

Thanks Rukaya for another house and sim to use. I think it's great that she is actually descended from sims I already have. BTW, don't be concerned with the items found in the houses you hadn't played yet. It usually means the creator play tested the house and just didn't get them deleted before uploading. I always appreciate creators actually playing houses they share, so it doesn't bother me a bit when something like that happens.

Pic is of the back of Sofia Vanderburg and Mike Tomsomething watching the stars from her deck in LL. I love the lighting files EA used with LL.

DD, I wasn't concerned, it surprised me and then I had to laugh. Masonjackson's houses are always so perfect. I made a point of play testing Emily's new house because I am inclined to forget things, like kitchen sinks and the like. I also appreciate it when builds are play tested.
JM your new kitty is so smart and I think she is also trying to show you how happy she is to have a loving forever home.
Well speaking worlds, alexspooms [?] is supposed to have his new world Suburban Springs ready to Beta test sometime Sunday, so am looking forward to that. No CC and all the eps and sps through MS.
I haven't updated LVII either. I have both the populated and the unpopulated which I placed my YAs in.
Well back to work. Oh also redownloaded costa mesa so it would have the chickens and the fruit bowl too. When I play that house I am going to be placing hampers in the bedrooms for sure.

Hi, everyone! WR happy belated birthday, and I think it's great that you switched to your CAW Lane avatar! It always threw me off everytime someone else that also had your old avatar posted on the forums and then I would realize, oh, that's not Writin!

Love the pictures, Gem! I downloaded and installed Grey Meadows the other day so I'll definitely be checking it out. I was going to suggest it to you when you said you were looking for a world but then I saw that you posted in Quailhogs thread so I knew you found it.

Well not trying to tempt anyone but I just think this world is so pretty that I want to share the pictures of it. Of course I have more for today. I wanted to go back and take another shot of the sports bar during the day but forgot when I played again last night, and I already had so many pics to upload for today I decided that might not be a bad thing.

One thing that is not so great is that there is no bookstore in the world. There is only the books register and while I'm sure he meant it to function as the town book store it is not showing anything to buy when I click on it. I could go see if I could find another mod but I'm not in the mood to add any more CC right now so I'm going to see if there is room to add the bookstore over in the "industrial" area I posted pics of last night - that was the area that showed the train in the pictures. I discovered that I can't even use the tablet to buy books without there being a bookstore somewhere in the world. I tried putting the portal from LL in the unused part of the laundry building but I don't like being able to see it in-game. Everything else just looks so coordinated and pretty that the view of the portal just doesn't cut it.

So on with pictures! The following day the couple honeymooning at Plav Raj decided to explore more of the town center. First of all the view from the hotel was simply amazing!

After admiring the view they decided to do some learning while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere so they took fishing, cooking, and mixology lessons. They visited the grocery, museum, church, and ended up at the lovely town plaza after visiting the Bistro.

The inside of the church is just jaw-dropping! Screenshot doesn't really do it justice. And of course there is a wedding arch (way in the back of the shot) for those who want a traditional wedding ceremony.

Then they rested a bit at the lovely town plaza.

They also admired the nice apartments available in the area, most of which used the special arch to give them their unique look. (The special CC arch that was included in the CC file.)

They finished the evening at the local Sports bar where they enjoyed a nice meal and a drink or two, then they headed back to the hotel to take advantage of those moodlets.

those pics are really tempting Tangie... Can you clarify something please? ALL the CC he has used are combined in a package file right? Is it possible to take that file off your game and share some pics from a new game with the world showing off the parts where the absence of the CC is more noticeable?

I'm sorry... but I'm drooling over those Photos, Tangie. That world looks sensational!

It is indeed very beautiful, Conorsim! It's not without it's issues - I already mentioned the bookstore, and there are only like 2-3 empty lots and the lots are so spread out that playing a game here for any length of time could be challenging.

Gem I will try that and try to take and upload some screenshots. It may take me a few days to do it, though.

I did make a few more slight changes - but yes it is basically the one from SOCL as that actually looks more like me. I also took Pete and Reggie back to the bin and changed them to YA's, and changed up the rest of their outfits to things similar to what we actually have in our closets and posted the couple for anyone who wants to add the YA versions of just Pete and I. No house seeing we only built this one 8 years ago. We had a 11 room rental apartment in a 175 year old Victorian house I was already renting for the first year. It was huge, and I did not want to rebuild it - besides I don't really know how to do the apartment part in a altered house.

But at least I recognize myself now. hehehe.
