2.3 The Lavoir Legacy: Day at the Mausoleum
Welcome back to the Lavoir legacy, where you may remember the twins getting busted for staying out past curfew after an… eventful prom. No mother wants to stand out in their pajamas at two in the morning and wait for her law breaking children to come home, but that’s just what Lexie did.
And then she took them inside to tell them not to do it again, and that they should all get some rest, just like a good mother should.
Goodnight Shay… and other Shay.
At least she tried.
I’d also like to mention how cute it is that you hang your kids’ old art work up in your room like that.
Barry made that for me!
…at least he tried.
The next morning: outside school
I can’t believe little miss goodie-two-shoes got arrested and grounded all in one night!
Leave me alone Grace.
What?
I meant what I said last night. I either want a normal sister or none at all, so just let me pretend you don’t exist.
Poor Grace. With no sister to pick on she was forced to spend time with her mother. I guess this could be some good heir to heir bonding time.
If it weren’t for Sulky Shay, the crazy old woman attacking the newspaper and the paparazzi guy who’s been following Lexie for the past few days.
Don’t worry though, she loves the attention.
Grace has lots of opportunities to work on her handiness, due to the fact that things here break ALL THE TIME. She’s already on level 5.
She even put aside some time to buy a book on the subject the next morning.
And then she put aside even more time to yell at this pigeon until she realized she was late for school.
It was looking at me funny!
She did make it to school in the end, which is good because is the school’s annual field trip…
To the local grave yard?! I guess that’s what you get for bringing a creepy vampire as a chaperone(BTW Isn’t Sebastian brave?).
Grace was laughing with glee over all the horrible tricks she could pull in a mausoleum.
I could shove Shay in a sarcophagus and just leave her there all night!
She’s already so scared! I bet I could just jump out at her! Maybe I could get Belisama to do it with me…
But Shay’s ignoring you remember? She said she wouldn’t pay attention to your pranks anymore.
Oh… right.
Grace liked the catacombs, but didn’t have as much fun as she expected.
So Shay… did you like the tombs?
...
One good thing did come from the trip thought. Apparently the cemetery had a gift shop or something, because Grace came back with a poster that was just her style; green and creepy. She put it up in her room, happy to finally have something of her own to decorate ‘the purple hell’ as she called it.
Grace was feeling pretty down about Shay ignoring her,
Only because I miss picking on her!
Of course. She was so upset she didn’t even want to fix the TV. She had talked to Belisama about it, but she wasn’t much help.
So she decided to call Nestor.
She certainly didn’t expect what she saw at the door.
Apparently Nestor had aged up and graduated without Grace even knowing.
And the shocks didn’t end there! Nestor then told Grace that he had been offered a job as a computer programmer… a long way out of Bridgeport.
Grace could’ve reacted better.
Your moving?! I called you to talk about my personal issues and you tell me your leaving for some fancy job! How selfish can you get!
Nestor was confused to why Grace made him leave, but he did what she asked.
What’s got you so upset?
I’ve ruined everything!
Great, now she has feelings! Come back next time to see what see does with them, on the Lavoir legacy.
