Oh ****** I'm sorry, I accidentally said cornices instead of contact lenses!
The cornices make the world look a million times better. The world will work without it, but a lot of the roofs will look crap. Adding sims CC is not going to break your Mac though, all you do is add a folder and a file and append a file, and you reverse it very easily. It's really not a big deal at all!! You just edit a file slightly, and you can back up that file (aka copy+paste the original on the desktop), and if you don't like the cc, you can get back the original easily. I know many people with macs who have loads of cc and it doesn't affect their computer at all.

Not that much of an update today cause I finished off a lot of interiors. Very close to finishing the entire village area, and the farmland area too. Only got to build 1 or 2 more lots there. Here are so nice screenshots that show a bit of the painting I've done in-game. I'm adding a lot more rock and things to give the landscape some contrast, it looked too green before.

Question: Will kid/teenager simmies be late for school if they live on the countryside or something? Could you test this, please? (Will the kid simmies be late for school if they live far away from the school?)

Anyways, I will make a meteor strike RIGHT in the middle of downtown, you know, for fun purposes, but I will use the world in playing ways

I played a bit today, and from the furthest house it takes about 1.5 sim hours to get there. IDK if this is too far for some people, I don't think it's as bad as it could be.
In the middle of town? Oh no! I'm sure that will be fun, and go well with the enormous meteor crater next to the town! :3

Thank you, I think the rocks are really making the landscape come alive. While I repaint the mountains I'll add that waterfall.

Hello all! been doing some more painting and introducing more rock to the world.
Here's the waterfall so far, I'm not quite happy with it yet. I will definitely add some more rocks and foliage, but I think the water needs a bit of tweaking.

I'll post the images tomorrow! It's not a community lot though, this is a private lot. I've made it so it looks like it's an extension of the graveyard, but it's a separate lot. The vampire lounge is in the city.
