Arlette did eventually stumble upon the castle. But, as it loomed over her, going in and asking for directions seemed a truly awful idea. Back to random wandering. The path to the left looked familiar at least. Besides, what did she have to fear around here anyway?

I smirked a little. I was Aura's husband, and the King of the Demonarchy. This was great. I reached down and scooped her up in my arms, bridal-style, with a haunting laugh.
"Let's go sit in the throne room, dearest," I murmured, pressing my lips to her cheek a few times over.
