Over at Simatography we have a vision of something very exciting.

The first ever

Sims International Film Festival - SIFF

A group of us at Simatography are excited to be kicking off this event.
It's a huge undertaking with exciting possibilities.

Our vision is to provide a venue for just about every possible type of talent that Sims3 has to offer. Here are just a few ideas.

graphic artists can create film posters and banners for the machinima directors to promote their films

fashionistas can host fashion shows and challenges to create the hottest Red Carpet wear for the fans,stars and directors attending the festival

Simtographers can photograph the stars in action and on the red carpet

story writers can create role-play stories or become part of the official paparazzi over at Simatography and write about the Festival Buzz

builders - keep your eyes open, there just might be something coming up to challenge you too

and of course there are the Machinima Directors doing what they do best - creating fantastic films

Awesome! We're ready to go! Hoping to see some cool posters popping up, and I might even need someone to make me a film poster sometime soon. Oh, and if anyone wants to team up for a movie it would be awesome! We'll need a set designer, sim-maker, writer and possibly an editor? I'll be doing the filming.

LKadas, glad to see you are interested. I welcome anyone to take on anything they like. It's like a real film festival, like the one in Toronto here. Business and Media everywhere takes advantage. Think roleplaying and write stories like magazine articles, interview your favourite machinima director, gossip about the stars, snap photos like papparazzi!

AmChristian - don't be shy or afraid to create some fun Sims and post them here to show off. You never know who might want to snatch them up to star in a film, or to take on a date to a film premier screening

WOW! I actually LOVE that idea! Maybe as time goes on i'll start doing interviews and news stories about people involved! This sounds so exciting!!

There are several creative projects underway including red carpet fashion makeovers, SIFF promotional trailer, interviews with the Artistic Directors of the festival and more. All will be posted here in the coming week or so.

What is your talent? Let's see you show it off with Festival fanfare!
