Nicky,

It would look like your sims would need to use their elevators a great deal, being that so much of the condos are going to be on three levels. I would anticipate some elevator maintenance problems and some stuck sims occasionally. I would include a staircase/staircases in the back of the building for all floors and for all tenants to use.

So far looks great. You might think about changing the type of fencing for the porch steps, even though they match the upper windows it might look better with just a metal fencing for the entry.

I'll have to see what it looks like after you remove the white panels but it's coming along fine at this point.

Hi fid! Did somemore work on the house but it isnt done yet. Im still stumped on how to make a roof that looks nice for this condo. The front part of the condo( the one facing the stairs is the lobby and the back (facing the pool) are the rooms. Im not sure what colours goes for the lobby for each level as i dont want the thing to be monotonous.

Heres the lobby part

The rooms. So far i've done the bedroom and the kitchen. The rest will be for tomorrow hopefully.

I'm back baby!!

After a few month's absence, I have gotten a new laptop that runs the Sims 3 BEAUTIFULLY!! Here's my newest WIP in Hidden Springs. I don't have a name for it. This will be my core gameplay mansion for The Sims 3 Seasons and Supernatural. It fits in with both EP's very well! Please tell me your thoughts!! I think this has great potential and I want it to live up to that potential.

But anyways, feel free to download and rec and any comments or criticism is great. Thank you guys for the help on the build and until next time!

P.S. a slideshow is soon to come.

Elite,

It looks great and I'm glad you were able to figure it out easy enough, as that's not always the case.

A definite rec from me.

Hey Nicky,

I can't tell much from the distance, but did you change the fencing on the porch? It kind of looks like you did though I can't quite tell what kind of fencing you used. It should be simple and if it doesn't automatically break off into segments - that means with post every one or two tiles - then you should do that with it. It takes more work sometimes to break a fence up into segments but the look is so much better.

I like your chosen colors for the interiors. Nice work.

KOman,

This was really a very nice piece of work. You maybe should be doing set design for movies.

A rec from me.

niac,

Nice to hear from you.

I like the style; it has a uniqueness. The color is also very nice.

I do think you go a little overboard with the landscaping though. I also think that the house is conservative enough to maybe try a little more uniformity in your flower gardens, with using a limited number of types of plants.

Everything else is great. I do envy you because though I can play sims, I have to have my sims live in one of the smaller houses because if it's too big; my game freezes up every few seconds until it's impossible to play. Building is also difficult, especially when you try to CAS, which I do a lot of. It's like my cursor takes on a life of its own and starts to move from tile to tile for maybe 30 seconds or more and I have to wait for it to stop to get control of it. I don't know what causes these kinds of things.

I look forward to my next computer which I intend on having duel video cards in it; one for the right side of the screen and one for the left. And of course, an excessive amount of ram and hard drive space. Having a lot of ram and an excellent video card is the essentials when it comes to playing TS3. I sure hope TS4 will be better than this.

Nice work on the house. I'm glad you're up and going again.

Nicky,

This website is messed up and the problem hasn't been fixed for quite a while - which is typical of EA.

You will find that after a page has 15 post - which is the number of post for every page - the new page won't show up for a while, until its had a few post on it.

I try to put a link at the bottom of the old page but it depends on if I'm the last post or not. To find the link, all you need to do is add 15 to the first group of numbers which has 5 digits in it, in the URL at the top of the page.

For example: Here's the URL for this page

http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/14265/279465.page#9
187355

Now if I want the next page that's not showing, all I need to do is change the 14265 number to 14280. copy that URL and paste it in the address box and then click it, which should take you to the newest page, if you did it right.

I hope that helps until they finally decide to fix the issue.

Hey Michael,

Looking good. Nice work. Is there a bar in front of those barstools? I can't see one but I suppose there is, since you do have barstools there.

Thanks, Fid. Actually, it's just island counters so Sims can sit and dine outside.

Crazy thing happened. So, apparently, I unintentionally uninstalled Lucky Palms (the world I have this current WIP in). So, obviously, my WIP was deleted. Anyways, I re-installed the world and "voilà!" my WIP was back.

Hey Maat18,

Let's start out with your kitchen dining area; I would suggest CASing your curtains to be much lighter in color than your wall covering. I'd add some white to them. Also, you should find something for the corners in this room, though it be plants or maybe and end table with something on it. Some more wall decor might help in this room too.

Dining room look nice, so does the study.

Let's talk about the first bedroom; You could use some wall art in here and some plant life.

Next bedroom the same; wall art and plant life. Try not to leave corners empty.

You do well with colors and you don't go overboard. I also like your use of lamps over wall lights as it sets much better ambiance for your rooms.

Nice work.

Michael,

I'm glad to hear that. It's so frustrating to put so much work into a house and then have to lose it.
