Please stop forcing heterosexual relationships on my sims!

it takes a long time to build up the relationship of any sim to marry. I remember reading that *** marriage is NOT out of the game. You just have to keep on seeing what the other Sim thinks of you.

I just had to interject here. I have several same sex relationships in my game. Male/male. And the dont get 'joined' anymore, they get fully married. So yes, it is still allowed in Sims 3.

I was typing that up while you had posted. I hadn't seen your post till after it reloaded.

At least its still there. Now if they will just change the filter to stop filtering out g.a.y., that would be nice.

It really is the only reason why I play this game at all. Without magic spells to poof mobs, at least I can live out my fantasy of a world where **** are accepted as a normal part of human society. Otherwise I'll just sell this game and go back to WoW thank you very much.

All I can say is wow.

I'm openly ***** (oh noes, "bad" word!) and a big fan of the game. I used to make Pascal Curious from Strangetown in the previous game fall in love with Nervous Subject all the time. I even made an openly ***** (I used it again, 'whatcha gonna do about it?) girl in my game once-she had elf ears and loved checkerboard stuff, she was my all-time favorite sim. Very sweet too-she fell in love with a townie and they had a child together...using a hack of course...

It stinks that the whiny homophobes always get their way. If I was in charge of the game, I would have included same-sex marriage before you could even say "same-sex marriage".

I'm not so sure I want to play the game anymore.

I advise the OP to check the game more thoroughly and see if there is same sex marriages and revise his original post if necessary, as it seems some folks say it's not a problem and is still in TS3, so the Original message will just continue to enflame people, best to make sure first.

AS i said earlier, IF it's not in there,then id' be a bit miffed but have not tired it myself yet.

I would also advise the EA TS3 Webmasters to remove g.a.y from the filters before someone reports you to some organization that protects the rights of g.a.y people, as you don't need that kind of bad press especially at the games release.

Wait, so what's the problem?

*** marriage works fine in the game. I just went into character customization to test it, made two male characters, and then went to the "Edit Relationships" screen before making the family and the option to make them married was there just like it has always been.
