so we need a small long hair dog...? perferly with curly tail...

Re posting danish spitz then...

Samoyed is a good choice too. The one I found on download is listed as a large dog, I'm sure I could make it as a small dog though ^^

I think it's a combo is how his mother treats her and how she was breed, she was used for breeding until she dislocated a hip or something.
I hate how she treats her, she got MAD at the INFANT when the dog went for him. He was thankfully in my arms, so she couldn't get him.

>.< Ack, that's terrible. As much as I like dogs-I dislike when owners treat their dogs like they're human or too nicely, especially those with small dogs, that let bad behavior(jumping, snapping) go uncorrected. It's like 'if the dog was big would you let that behavior go uncorrected?' small dogs aren't special, they're still dogs.

Small dogs really do get away alot of the time with stuff bigger dogs would be put down for. It's sad.

small dogs have a complex (forgot what it was called)
for example our bulldog wont run off dogs from our yard however the chihuahua thinks hes bigger and badder nomatter what their size o.O but its reverse when its a human de bulldogy loves females and we have to be careful about strange males coming over (hes never off his chain to run free unless theres no cars or company. He stays in the house most of the time an only goes out when he wants to (spoilt i know >.< ) and the chihuahua hides growls and barks (but he makes sure hes safe first lol

edit. my ex mom was terrifed of dogs an down the block there were plenty runnnin free and one sorta like that furry pic dog lol i threatned it (makes me feel better) he tried to snap at my ankle so therefore everytime i went walkin and he started charging id say come on doggy lets play football and hed stay outta reach (smart doggy) lol

I know, it's unreal, with her the lil mutt (well it is a pure breed but still) can do no wrong, when you walk into the house she starts jumping and snapping at your heels and the owner will blame you.

She complains that I never come around with any of the times. She doesn't see a problem with the dogs attiuted.

Wisphers...

I want to slap her (dog or owner don't care) into place...

Sorry.... but this makes me angry...

edit: don't normally do things like that... just... for the sake of any thing... respect your dog lady (adressed to owner) and your family + guest... she cant espect company when her dog is a danger...

Blegh tell it to her straight she cant see you or the kid unless her dog is under control or in a separate room and if she comes to visit you the dog stays behind =) Maybe she will catch a hint

lol she can't see the kids anyways, she's a danger to them herself, I've told her that, told her all the reasons why me and the kid's don't come over. I'm like her most hated person in the world now, but I could care less.

Honestly, it's sad that small dogs do get away with a lot more, but at the same time people need to keep in mind that it's the owners and breeding-not the dogs or breed specifically.

It's really, really important for one to socialize their dog-no matter the size of the dog- as soon as possible. By socialize, it means getting them use to everything and anything. People of all ages, sizes, races and by different clothing types. Different dogs of different breeds/sizes, different areas, different objects/noises. Socialization is very important.

For small dogs-and any dog-it's important that they know they're not the ones in charge, rules need be set and stay set, no matter the dogs size. My dad encourages barking from his small dog, and jumping, and other bad behavior-he finds it cute. But when other, larger, dogs do the same actions-he finds it irritating. It's annoying really.

He always tells me I'm mean to my dog. Because I don't allow her to bark at people(give more than a warning bark), and I don't allow her to jump on people or pull on the leash. She's a medium sized dog, 45lbs-people already back away from her when they see her(she's not huge, or vicious looking)-if she jumped on someone, she could hurt them, and might end up being put to sleep if she does, even if she hurts them accidentally. So I don't understand how he thinks I treat her badly/am mean to her. But it is frustrating.

I treat his small dog the same way-while I don't blame the dog, it is annoying when people fawn over her bad behavior but then act afraid of my dog who is well behaved >.< But yeah, AmberKotori- I hope your husband's mother wakes up soon and starts correcting her dog, or else it may be put to sleep if it snaps at the wrong person who won't brush it's bad behavior off.

I've thought about calling the SPCA (UK's Humine Socity) but I wouldn't want the dog to be put to sleep.

yea i know what you mean by socializing the dogs Zeus can take kids no problem (but if they're small he could hurt them by accident) simply because hes a big dog o.O when he steps on my foot it hurts lol i think hes like over 100lbs somewhere it why we take him to separate rooms of the house when we have company ( that hes not used to) hes also our houses guard dog so socializing him with anyone whom visits jusr isnt a good idea. females and children he doesnt consider a threat. so for females we have the chihuahua (whom lets us know if anyone he doesnt live with) has walked in uninvited =P

On topic again i cant wait to see the next litter

edit: i think imma go lay back down the drunks got me up wayyyy to early >.<

excuse any typos i may have or may not have corrected
