I find I get bored by the lack of things my sims can do other than
Gym Reading Dancing etc... They do need some more fun things to do.

Agreed with the first suggestion, though i think if theres a bug with my game, as time stops when i go on vacation i dont even have to call work to tell them im going on vacation, my performance isn't altered either when i get back.

PS: I'll edit every weekend so if i didn't add your suggestions don't panic

w/ gens there is scouting as an after-school club. In the U.S. its called Girl Scouts.

Well, it wasn't in Sims 2, either, I think, but I'd always kinda wished you could have crushes and such, especially for teens. And, you know, different relationship levels, because sometimes feelings aren't entirely mutual, right? And I agree that I wish parents could still drive their kids to school.

* This would put a smile on the sims face who was woohooed with by the one with the trait. [?]
* Sims automously cuddle in bed like they did with apartment life in the sims 2 plus an option to make them sleep this way.
* The makeouts like we had on sofas and benches in the sims 2.
* New dance styles
* more options for teenagers [?]
* Also the ability for sims to recognise cousins, Aunts and uncles
* Teen-elder sims can sing a toddler/child to sleep.

* Treehouse with swing [i dont think you can use the swing though]

* Heart Shaped Hottub

* Rocking horse (& other random stuff for toddlers & children)

* Online sims match.com so your single sims can hook up with other singles.
* Romantic interactions in at tables and on the ground
* Mistletoe with a kiss option
* Sims that are not playable at the present time can ask another sim on a date
* Sims your not playing ask you on an outing at their place or on a lot on the phone.

all of thats already in the game. a lot of it has been in the game for awhile.. :/

Here's a few that i think it would be cool to add.

When you choose a family when you first started in said map there will be 2 things you can do before choosing that family.

1) you can go ahead and play that family or
2) you can create your own sim and be a part of that family tree.
3) If you choose a sim who is single you can give that sim a brother or sister before choose to play that sim.

I'm sure you guys get the general idea.
edit: Your not gonna live with the family you pick to be a part of the family tree you can choose to live with them or live in your own house.
