Well, Nicki Minaj does have cool outfits... and I'm a guy. Her outfits are the first ones I've actually "noticed."

Imagine 'my heart will go on' or 'because you loved me' in simlish and slow dance ...wow!.

I have no idea who this Nicki Minaj is, but I don't want famous people in my game. And please, please don't mention Celine Dion, Titanic OR that awful song. If they put that in my game I'm flying to EA's headquarters and burning my Sims 3 games in front of their doors.

I think a lot of people have a celebrity they like enough to suggest an EP or SP for, but seriously. NO MORE CELEBRITY THEMES. Just keep the game abstract. I dont want or make real people and those that do have the freedom to do so.

No no no!! I couldn't play the game with the sound on and a stereo in the house if My Heart Will Go On was in the game. You see, I start crying in the opening menu of the DVD because of that song and I keep bawling through the entire movie, haha

I think that if they should do another celeb ep (not that I want them to), it should be Taylor Swift! That might be just because I'm a Swiftie, but she is after all a better role model than Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj

I couldn't do Celine either and I like her. I can put all the tragedy in my game that I want why would I want real life tragedy in there??

Maybe they need to just do a "MUSIC" pack. An even mixture of all things music.
Not just the popular stuff either, stuff from several generations.

Actually, Sarah Brightman does a version of the Titanic song in Italian -- it's quite lovely and she's got a marvelous voice. (Her album Eden is my favorite.)

But here's an idea -- instead of a pack devoted to celebrities, why not create celebrities and have them on sale in the Store? That way people could choose which celebrities they want and which celebrities they don't, and those who don't want any celebrities can pass on them all together.

@SimsAddiction968, I like your idea of a music pack, which could expand the music selection for both performing and singing. It could add in some of the instruments people have suggested (like wind or brass instruments), and maybe even add additional genres for singers in Showtime (for those who have that pack) like classical, country or blues instead of being all pop. You could learn all the songs then at a certain point in the career (maybe level 5) decide to specialize in a particular genre, such as pop, classical, country, blues, etc. I'd also like to see songwriting added as a career; it would be a self-employed career like the Writing career in Ambitions but you'd do it at a guitar or piano instead of a computer, and you could sell your works at the bookstore (or other members of your family could learn them and perform them).

LOL! I would totally have Taylor Swift in my game, then make a Sim modeled on the son of a good friend and put him with her in my game; he's a full-on Swiftie. (My friend doesn't mind; he's high-functioning autistic and Taylor Swift is a safe idol for him.)

I wouldn't mind T-Swift in my game, but I probably wouldn't purchase the game full price, I'd wait a bit.

I'd rather not see any celebrities in TS. Plus, they'd make a version without her ( just like Katy Perry ), and you'd have to pay extra for her stuff.. So.. Blehh.. I'll pass.

Honestly the ones they had appear in 1 and urbz were done in a tasteful/fun way. 2 was meh and with sims 3 you're hearing outcries. Hint hint the celebs aren't liked as much as they were in previous generations of game.

I picked up on that. I still found it lulzy, and joking or not, it still holds true.

She has /actual/ talent. Musicians / singers these days don't. God, especially those random annoying boy bands. I can think of probably half a dozen that, literally, sound the same to me.
