Also, it was fairly clear to me that when people asked for celebrities, they meant as an in-game mechanic. No one wanted Katy Perry's prematurely aging face on the box cover.

How are they supposed to make a better game?

I want to know what you would do.

And don't just say "Improve quality" or something ambiguous. If you believe there is a way to improve the game, what is it?

What's surprising about complaints?

You don't actually expect everyone to be happy with everything? Even if there was only one person in the world, even if that person was the easiest to please person in the world, he or she would eventually come across something to they don't like.

Nothing in this world will ever be perfect because you have to make compromises in whatever you do.

And about Pets, most opinions I've come across have been positive about TS3 Pets. And if you were bad at the Sims 2, you didn't know what you were doing. There were all kinds of things you could do to keep you sim's needs up.

People who complain have something to say. It's called feedback. With the whole celebrity and fame....where have you seen this?? The only thing I see with this is people say the whole town is overruned by it. It's a legit complaint. I say the Sims 2 was better because it was more comical. The Sims 3 is losing its feel, IMO. You have a different view. You guys are complaining about us. It's a complaint right? This thread contradicts itself. For me, TS3 just isn't the same without Will Wright. That's my complaint. I feel this thread is to tell us to shut up. Guess what, we're not. It's one thing to state your views, another to tell us to shut up. I haven't seen threads saying TS2 Pets was better. And if one of you pull up one thread that is at the end of the Pets forum and say it was a complaint thread, it's at the end for a reason. I found this thread very rude. I myself have stated the Seasons thread has become bothersome, but because its repetive and often found in other EP forums. I gave reasons. This thread really has no true reasons, to me its just another complaint. I'll say it again, the people who complain about TS3 have reasons.

Will Wright left before TS2 came out and he only works on online social games now.

Well then that was my mistake. Either way, the current S3 team is not good. I do know that quite a few people who made TS2 special left when it came to TS3, or didn't stay very long. I just find this thread's main point contradicting and pointless. But shhh...don't tell anyone else because I'm "complaining", just like others on this thread

The only issue I have with the game is the "wedding presents" glitch- but I have no doubt that EA are working on a fix, so it's all good!

I love the Sims 3. I can honestly say that I have played the Sims 3 more in a month then I did with all of the Sims 2. The Sims 2 is overrated because people seem to love their rose tinted glasses.
I have had zero issues with the Sims 3 game and I strongly believe that it is because that a lot of the people that have issues with it are because their computer is not strong enough to play it and instead of bothering to know if their computer can handle a game they would rather blame EA for their issues, but, that is just my thought on the matter.

I do agree that when and if Seasons comes out that people will complain because most of them will not be able to run it, or have issues with it. Just remember to all you season fans. Be Careful what you wish for.

I must admit that it did take me a while to warm up to the sims 3, after playing the sims and sims 2. Since i've embraced the sims 3, it's been a ton of fun. I love the expansions for it and think that the game is great fun. The only expansion that I regret buying is showtime, just because it seemed to be full of bugs. I also don't play with the pets ep, because i don't really use whats in that ep (pets/animals).

I love the expansions that we've got so far and am really looking forward to the next expansion and stuff pack. The only thing i really wanted for the sims 3 (besides magic) was to have a college type of ep. Even if a college ep doesn't show up in the sims 3, i'm still happy with what we have.

Nobody does it better, Steve Jobs you simply are the best. RIP 10-5-2011

I just want to ask a simple question- What do you mean by "perfect"?

Yeah the game has it's glitches (some that should have been fixed ages ago) and it has things that we feel should be added to make it better or removed to make it better, but define the word "perfect".

I just have a hard time dissing anything involving the Sims. People forget to look at the Sims 3 as a whole and how far it's come since the Sims 1. I love all the Sims and I'm always looking forward to the next thing they are gonna come out with.
