ah ok lol cos I have 1 dbc file and 10 ebc files as I tend to install each lot of files in ep/sp release order instead of all at once.

SimGuruAims, I appreciate you guys jumping on that issue and fixing it. I'd like to mention this one thing so you can appreciate the inconvenience it's caused: it takes upwards of a half hour to go through my entire Installed tab to find anything, even with the rudimentary sort tools there are (and they don't sort by floors/walls, fyi). Could you please pass that on to the coders? It's ridiculous that I have to go through all this trouble to find a faulty file. I don't even use CC, but imagine how those guys must feel when someone advises to uninstall something from the Installed tab!

Just an alphabetical sort would be so useful, or one that sorts by installed-date or something.

My studio -- c'mon by and take a peek! ** CC-free.

ivinian,

Thanks for bringing this up. I definitely feel the launcher needs a chronological and alphabetical sort feature.

With the chronological sort one could find the date from their Purchase History and know right where to look for a particular item in the launcher.

I would have to agree, ivinian. I have been filtering through my content trying to get everything removed and it's a shame that a coding error on EA's part has to be cleaned up by us, still. I still haven't removed everything and the fireplace still isn't showing up in my game. Although bits and pieces of the set have been removed successfully, Im having a hard time tracking down all the other pieces to get them out just so I can turn around and reinstall everything again in the hopes of the fireplace being successfully installed.

Nonetheless, despite that rant I am glad the problem was semi-fixed. But considering the last hiccups with the adobe fireplace and this Cambodian fireplace I think I will hold off purchasing new releases until I know there are no coding errors.

I feel the same about holding off a bit, although I may buy or get gifted right after the release, I will not install anymore until I know the problems have been solved. SMH.

Instead of going through all that trouble, you guys can just download it separately here

Just went through my installed content three times, can not find any of the stuff in the set and when I reinstall the set I get "this set is already installed" message on the installer. *scratches forehead*

I really don't want to go through finding and installing everything again. Egads!

The individual store file wasn't replaced. It's borked. Same as the Mexican one.
