it updated now i wont get that annoying message saying "update"

I have exactly the same problem for a while now and I've had to use Super Patcher like 3 times or so now :S And I can't find Super Patcher link from anywhere to Update 1.34.27 now either :S Anyone?

Just to see if there are more problems but if you plan on buying it, I would just patch from the DVD (saves you the trouble of downloading the patch).

I'm currently testing if the super patch still has the same issue.

Thank you that is what I will do.

i install the update on my mac and first of all after downloading i get this come up.

i then put my password in and it extracts the file like normal, but then i get this.

it then closes the launcher and when i reopen it, it still says there is an update.

I went from having zero issues yesterday to freezing every 13 to 20 minutes sim time for 20 to 30 seconds real time after updating my game just over an hour ago from the launcher. I have zero mods or third party CC, all expansion packs and stuff packs and store content but will not be getting the KP sweet treats.

A week ago I set my computer back to factory settings and re-installed all my sims packs with all updates and my game never ran or looked better... I should have waited.

@MeaganJo: Sorry to hear that. How old is your (how many weeks are you into the game) ? Did you try the resetsim * cheat ? It can happen that Sims get stuck before an update that wasn't the case before. Updating a patch usually resets your Sims but sometimes that doesn't work well. Also do you get the same issue in a new game ?

That would be a good question - for sim time several days since she is finally where I want her in her learning (cooking, gardening, handy, fishing) and her garden is almost perfect. For me in real time 1 week. She is my tester sim for my builds.

Yes I used the resetsim and it still froze on me.

Is there a way to uninstall patches?

@MeaganJo: You can hover over the clock to get the info which week you are at in the game
Are you connected ingame ? What happens when you log out ? Can you also post some more info about your Computer and the EPs you have.

@brian96: You need to reinstall the game and then manually patch to the patch you want. What's your issue ?

My only issue now is that I have to remove all my mods and wait until they are updated. I am not spending time to re-install and patch to patch get back to 1.33. I sort of just blindly updated it and after it was all done I realized what I just did.

Don't despair. From what I read the changes are minimal. There are hardly any XML Mods that need updating and I'm sure twallan will have updated the few he needs to by tomorrow.

I wouldn't go through the ordeal of uninstalling because of the mods.

Let me know if you want to know about any specific mod.

Week 3, day 2 I can log in fine will try to log out... Ok so I tried saving before logging out and low and behold I am getting this "An unexpected error has occurred while saving: Error Code 16. Please consult the readme for details.

Tell me what you need and you shall receive. What computer info would you like? DXDiag, the log in which the error code wants me to look at?
