Love the challenge! I wish it was almost autumn here; sadly the temperature probably won't drop below 85 until mid-October (I'm in San Antonio, TX).
Can't wait to get started on a sweet home for Autumn.

Sorry, Mr. Questions here, there is no lot size restriction right? And how do we put the fireplace in between two rooms without cheating? (Or do we use the cheat?) Sorry for the bother.

I don't believe there is a lot size requirement this time around, sunset! But as the budget is fairly limited, I probably wouldn't suggest going with a lot that's too big.
As for the fireplace, that's where your creativity will be coming in! Experiment with it a little to come up with something you're pleased with. As for cheats, I think most of us can't live without the moveobjects cheat, so that may come in handy!

Hi, Sunset. I'm usually the question woman, so I appreciate finding a kindred spirit! lol
Anjubee is right, there is no required size. I usually say 40x40 or less because our judges have to place so many lots and bigger can really bog things down.
You are welcome to use cheats, but you don't have to. As Anju said, moveobjects is always a fun one to play with, just make sure the lot is still playable.
Jayempee, yikes! That is HOT for this time of year. Glad you'll participate anyway!
Welcome back, Stuart and Lego. SAT. Yikes. Glad that time of my life is well in my past!

ooh addict I am liking this challenge. I already have some idea, just hoping I can get it all in for 30k.
Just one thing, the car which she wants to protect, I presume she wants a garage or is that up to us?

So glad to have you back, SimEve. I think school has me fully in fall mode now, too. Can't wait for the sound of leaves crunching beneath my feet!

Thank you, Anita.
Fiery,
I meant to write that! lol. A garage would be lovely.
Ohh, Clover. Always dream of Florida on those winter days, but I think I would miss the seasons...Summer part III. Phew!

Ok I feel silly for not knowing this but what do you mean by clean lines and classic style?

I'm LOVING this challenge! Autumn Winters and I have the same palette of favorite colors Although, my launcher STILL won't let me log in or upload anything...piece of crap. So I may participate, but it'll be from the pleasure of my own home, I guess...

Oh, Firebubble. Perhaps upload some pics to Photobucket (or a similar hosting site). This won't require use of your launcher, and then we can enjoy your work!
Happyone,
I'm thinking of a specific bed that's in-game as kind of an example...the Bedscalibur. You don't have to use it, but that's the look I have in my mind for some reason...Not too embellished, but not too modern, either. Hope that makes sense/clarifies a bit.

Aww, Stuart. Hang in there! I know you all can come up with something. You might take a peak at the post above. I'm not thinking "classical," so maybe that would help...more streamlined, if that makes sense?
