For anyone who's still having trouble with the Mailbox cheats, you have to turn on Testingcheatsenabled true , then shift+click on the house's mailbox. You should then get the pie menu for all the cheats.

Does anyone know if there's a cheat/download/mod like the Mood Adjustor Painting or the InSIMinator that were for the sims 2 where u can use it to:

1. fulfill all needs
2. fulfill all motives
3. keep needs/motives/etc from decreasing
4. Set relationships
5. Change ages (up or down)
6. Force babies
7. Change/set jobs/grades
8. Change/Max/Min aspirations/likes/dislikes
9. Change names/Sim info

I'm not sure what is going wrong but no matter what I try, when I use the "Force" command for say, "Force Opportunity", I just get "force unknown command". I did the TestCheatsEnabled True and I click on the building but I get the same result.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Go to the main menu, and type in the testingcheatsenabled true cheat there. Now go to your neighborhood's active household and try clicking around the treasure chest while holding that Control button.

Of course, there are many places you can click to get the 500 lifetime happiness points. Just stay clicking in that rectangular box that are holding the treasure chest and your current lifetime happiness.

It worked for me.

they need to much to go on bed and its bad ..

do the TestingCheatsEnabled true cheat, then shift+click on the mailbox and make all happy. Then shift+click on the mailbox and make moods static

That should make them happy and then make their moods never change.

This works! All the mailbox options come up. Thanks so much!

On my 2008 Vista laptop, it's ctrl + shift and left click on my mouse in that area. Mua ha ha!

iMiracle wrote:o.O When i press ctrl+shift+c it does nothing, this happened to me for Sims2 as well. It worked for awhile then it just stopped working i thought they patched it up or something. However reading through the forum its still active, any advice?

This might work if you have an HP computer. It worked for me:
Go to the start menu, search for HP Health Check, right click and go to properties, click the short cut tab, and then go down to the short cut window. The short cut for this program is also ctrl+shift+c, so just change it and your cheats window should work fine. The HP health check is under HP and it is easy after that!

The Exit command which was used in Sims 2 to close the command line window doesn't work in Sims 3. I usually have to turn MoveObjects on or off to exit the window. Anyone got any idea how to exit, and I don't mean quit the game.

First, I'm a PC user.. does that change things? Second, how do you do the cheat BEFORE you select the sim you want to play with? You have a Sim selected as soon as you enter the save?

- I start TS3, and choose the save I want to enter.
- Then I zoom out to Neighborhood view, enter the cheat (ctrl+shift+c, testingcheatsenabled true)
- Click on the sim to zoom back in and click around the area in the pic...

Nada.

Peace

Okay, try typing testingcheatsenabled true on the main menu and try again while holding the Control button.
I just tried it with my sim, and it worked. Hope it does for yours too!

Yay! I couldn't get this cheat to work ...so I did what you suggested. I saved my current household and went out to "Main Menu". I typed Shift, Ctrl, and C to bring up the cheat bar and then typed testingcheatsenabled true and hit enter. I then chose the saved game that I wanted to play and once in, I clicked on the lifetime rewards treasure chest, bringing up my lifetime rewards. I ctrl + clicked in the area between the treasure chest (one to the left of lifetime points number) and the number of lifetime reward points. Each time I clicked, 500 points were added! I was at first disappointed that shazaam didn't work, but as someone else had posted, this cheat is much better! Thanks so much for the updates on this!

That worked perfectly. Thanks.

OK GUYS....HERE IS THE DEAL WITH THE SHAZAAM CHEAT
IT DOES WORK!!
IN MY GAME...ONCE YOU TYPE IT IN AND START PLAYING THE GAME, THE LIFETIME POINTS OF THE SIM YOU ARE ON SLOWLY INCREASE ABOUT 1 PER A SECOND
THIS SEEMS LIKE IT WILL TAKE FOREVER, BUT IF YOU PLAY SIMS FOR A WHILE...BY THE END OF YOUR TIME PLAYING IT WILL PROBABLY HAVE GOT TO 2500 BY THEN

*Cough*...um, no it doesn't.
This happens when your mood meter is on the second little bubble. That's why your lifetime happiness points increase per second while your mood meter stays in that second bubble. It's not the shazaam cheat. It's a fact of the game...
It's much better if you press control and click around the treasure chest to get 500 lifetime happiness every time you click.
