I just posted in Rflong's thread because I found 3 of her worlds removed with the same message that Gem got.
WR, I grabbed the restaurant/movie studio lot. I also have the farm backlot and diner lot you did, in addition to the one in LVII.
That reminds me, Tangie I just snapped to the fact that your skydiving/movie lot for LL has a subway station on it. LOL, I haven't been using subways a lot lately and had to check out that third map tag on the lot. Of course, it goes nowhere in my LL Where else did you put subways there? Just curious but you never know, I might want to implement a small subway system.
Going to play for a bit. After Reggie has her baby, I need to check on Lunar Bunbunnyny. I haven't run across him in town at all and need to see what he's up to.

Gem since you asked about a CC version Vs. No CC version of Plav Raj, this is for you.
The first thing that I noticed was how bare the pier looked without the CC yachts. Of course if you never saw this area with them you won't probably miss them at all.
Here are before pictures - with the CC - and after pictures - without the CC. First, the library before (with CC) and the library after (no CC).
Here is an apartment with the CC arch, second shot is the apt. without it.
The sports bar with CC and again with no CC.
The "shops" next door to the Sports Bar with CC and without.
I forgot I already had Awesims' cornices in my game because I recently tried out St. Claire. So none of the pictures show the buildings without those, sorry! If you really want to see the buildings without those I will have to deal with that tomorrow.
As for the bookstore, the books register on the pier worked fine for me the second time I tried it in a regular game (this was not a Twallan vacation destination game). I don't know if that was a fluke or not. I will have to experiment some more.
So if the books register works for you too, you shouldn't have to do this, but I was also able to place an EA RH bookstore (the Studious one) on the same lot as the Business building. There is also a diner on the right side of the lot; I just moved some of the trees around and placed the bookstore behind the diner. As shown in this pic:
You may also find a place for it that you like better. As for the theatre, if you don't download the CC file you will NOT have the RH rug. But you will not have a theatre, either. When you do not have the mod it you may still see a rug but it just turns into the harmless little round EA rug that comes in the game.
So to solve the problem of not having a theatre, first I experimented with putting it in the basement of the original Theatre location in the town center. I was able to place the Lunar Lakes Theatre rabbit hole by creating 2 basements and using the elevator, and not placing anything on the second level down (which I suspect the game is not counting as a whole floor level). At least the portal is not visible from street level so it works for me.
Another alternative is to delete the one 60x60 lot in the world and replace it with a 64x64 lot, then place the Ultimate Venue from the Ltd. Edition of Showtime. It also includes a theatre as well as the Big Show venue (there is no other Big Show venue in the world) so I think for most people that is probably the best solution if you do not use the CC file Nilxis intended for the world.
Anyway, if anyone else downloads it don't forget to go around and knock out a section of each tree square that is on the Pier lot in the town center. I had another bookseller spawn there so that makes two times that happened for me. Both times as soon as I knocked out a section, the sim walked right out.
All in all I am keeping the CC files for now. As Nilxis said they are harmless (at least until the next EA patch or SP/EP) and some of them I already had in my game anyway. But I am glad to know that I could play this world without them, too.

Oh my! What the heck is going on with world removals!! Hope it's just some kind of glitch or over zealous new person something.
Let's see, it's been a while since I played LL but I think I placed a subway on the mountainside area - they only need a tiny lot and I was able to place those easily. By mountainside I mean that area on the way up to the top where the airie fairies live.
Then I also placed one out near Gamma Gardens because I placed an apartment building that I recolored to coordinate with the world, created by Yanti, out that way to hold all the service people generated by all those mixologists etc. And one subway down in the main town part although I'd have to open my old game to tell you where exactly!

 This is getting serious...
Tangie thank you for those pics... I have no idea what the Awesims' cornices are so i don't think i'll notice them missing anyway.
There is one place in this world you took a picture off that I'm unsure if it is CC or not.
It's a pic of some castle looking arches that the road is running through... I'll go back and find that pic and post it for you.
This one. Can you take a pic of that are without the CC?
As for the theater, does the world miss only the big show venue or all the ST venues? it does have all EPs right?

I d/l'ed and played that world today Tangie. It's nicely done, but not for me. Everything was crammed too close together, building wise, and too much empty terrain with no builds at all. Nice to look at though, you can tell a lot of work went into the world. Like I said, it's just not for me. I'm sure others will love it.
I'm sorry about your world Gem. That's terrible, but it sounds like you will just have to wait until Monday to get the issue resolved. I doubt there is much else you can do about it. Hopefully they will also restore the featured badge and download counts for you.
I hope everyone else is doing well and you all have a great weekend!

Thank you DM , but i'm afraid they won't be able to restore my dl and rec counts. No idea if it is even possible.

I am so sorry, Gem. Rflong, too!
Gem that area looked the same even without the CC file so I assume it did not use any. Ask Nilxis on his thread if you are concerned, but as I said before there was no CC installed in my launcher after installing this world.
Edit: forgot to answer your other question. The world does have Showtime venues in it. I think there is one private venue, one live venue (kaoke place), and the coffee shop. I haven't checked them all out but I believe they are all EA made lots. There are also some LN clubs, but not every type of club.
I understand, DM. I am in awe of the beauty of the world and as you said, all the work that went into it. But as I said early on I'm not sure I would want to play a "regular" game in this world. If I did I would make the sims I am playing self-employed. And it's not that I travel a lot with my sims, but on those occasions when I might want to, I love it as a vacation spot using Twallan's register.
again! I meant Twallan's Traveller mod.

Tangie, that's a good use for this world, as a vacation spot. I haven't traveled with my Sims in ages! I need to try that again.

I'm so sorry for what happened, Gem, and to Rflong too - if she knows
Woke up this morning at quarter to 8 to this horrible scratching noise, coming from somewhere outside. I lied in bed listening to it for about 45mins wondering what the hell it was, and then I found out it was my father scraping the walls of our house!! I'm still quite annoyed about it ... I went to bed at 3 last night so waking up at 8 was the last thing I needed.
Sorry for that. My problems are so inconvenient but I do need to express them
Tangie, again, that world looks stunning, and along with Ouerbacker's Reyes County world (name?), I am slowly being persuaded into getting those CC cornices. Those arches do like nice, too. Just for personal use, of course No CC in my creations! (if they're ever finished... )
I've been building and sorting out families in Rinn Fada for the past week. It has been a very slow process but I'm getting there. I really want to get it done by the end of June so that it isn't a burden over the summer - not that it is now, but just because I don't want to be sick of it (again).
Hope everyone's well (although you're all probably snoozing in bed, now).

Hi everybody! Thank you so much for your nice words
Gem, The only CC used in the picture are the ivys, the castle arch was made with constrainfloorelevation false and with a Basegame fence
The Awesims cornices are used also in many lots, but lots look weird when you play without them. Here's a picture of a house without the cornices:
I'm also sorry about what happened with your world. I have it installed and I played with it some time ago, it is a very nice world and I didn't see anything that could violate the terms of use I hope it's an error from EA and I hope it's fixed soon

Gem I am so upset for you. I do hope it gets resolved very soon. I did see your thread where you now have it on Media fire, good for you.
Reggie is this update for Origin safe? Is it a must that we update it? Will check back later. My brain is still a little foggy due to lack of sleep. I didn't quite follow your post on it. Also dl'd your YA simselves and the modern house to put them in; gave all a rec.
Slept a little better last night, but am still very tired. Am watering the sides and backyard today. Didn't do much the past few days due to exhaustion, but my plants are in dire need as the past few days have been in the 90's and with our relatively low humidity they are looking pretty parched. I have an appointment with my doctor for some other problems,[getting to be elderly is interesting, though neither my hubby or I really consider ourselves elderly. ] and I plan to bring up the sleep problems again.
I am waiting for LL to go on sale, my thrifty side is on alert. Also am trying to decide which world to set up all the houses I dl'd from Masonjackson so I can play them with some of my other YAs so I can check out the houses and also decide which of my sims to up load.
Is it better that I take them back to CAS to remove all their skills and lifetime rewards, or is it OK to upload them as they are? What do you all think is better?
DD great pictures as usual. LL does look like an interesting place.
I keep watching the daily deals hoping something I want goes on sale.
JM saw on the news about the bad weather back on the east coast, I hope you and your family are doing OK
I hope all of you have a safe and very enjoyable weekend.

Rukaya I'm glad you slept better last night; I sure hope you feel better soon. As for your sims, if I'm going to use them to help fill up my world (rather than to play them frequently), then I prefer households where they already have skills and jobs. If it's a sim I want to play and/or be able to tweak whenever I choose, then I prefer to have a fresh copy out of CAS. So I don't know what to advise you to do! I use both type of sims.
Gem, here is the arched roadway showing the missing climbing plants. I'm not sure it's the same arch because there are two of them going in/out of the town center.
Here is a screenshot of the church without the CC cornices. Without them, they default to the wrought iron fence (I think - and I'm not sure of the exact name of it).
Personally I doubt very much that the missing cornices would bother me while playing, but I decided to play around with it in build mode in case they did and here are some results. The first shot shows the church with the Baluster Rail Fence in place of the wrought iron one and the second pic shows the Swapomatic Half Wall recolored to coordinate with the building.
ETA: forgot to mention (when do I not!) that I agree with you about Reyes County, Conorsim. I'm really looking forward to exploring that one when s/he gets it finished.

Rukaya - yes it is safe. It helps the launcher especially when doing business with the Sims 3 store.
I agree with Tangie on your Sims. I like both ways, but I notice if I know simmers well I have no qualms about downloading their household sims - but if i don't know a simmer, then I won't ever grab household sims from them because you can only get CC through household sims if that simmer uses CC. Getting binned sims is the only way I can guarantee nothing uninvited gets added to my game. But I generally have no problem getting any sims as households from all of you guys.
At most there might be Default skins, which will not transfer so the sim will look all black, so it is easy to move the sim into the bin and change the skin. I do have a set of default skins because I like the way DM's sims look, but they have never shown to be a problem. But either way you want to post them is fine for me. I generally make households out of the binned sims for use in game anyway.
