Which hairs are good?

I want to get some new hair from the store, but I've read some of it is bugged and you can't tell from the pics which styles are going to look good. I'm looking for a male and a female hair, can anyone who's bought them and likes them recommend one or two? I like mostly "normal looking" stuff. I think my game needs more.

Dont get "all banged up" for males. It only works in every day outfit which made me feel like I wasted sim points.

Yes, I wish they would reissue that to work for all outfits, as I so like that hairstyle

Another male one I like is 'Slick'. It works for all outfits, can't remember whether it works naked too though (when in the shower or bath).
