XD Sneak up on ya' did I? I've been doing that a lot lately .
I missed you toooo, I just couldn't stay away from my simmers forever. XD
Don't worry, I took a break too but now Im back because I missed all of you rabble too. :] Welp, nice to see you. *goes back to contemplating my idea for this edit which will take me a year to complete.*
Congrats to everyone!! This was an amazing round. Kind of tempted to give it another go
Thanks for the comments Rexy! I really appreciated them
I too wasn't that sure of the mask but it was one of the very first things I added to to the sim and every time I took it off her she looked a little bare and a bit dull, plus I thought it could work as another random fashion thingy you'd randomly see. Although funny you say she reminds you of a superhero, because I was finding it so difficult to get the right kind of hair that I almost gave up, until I decided to use a picture reference to make it easier, therefore using this picture

@Evie: Thanks for posting your tut! Definitely going to give that a look And I'm sure you'd be great at judging for 'SMS! You literally just need to write down everything you think of when you look at the photo hahah. I just really hope I can get another judge for this...I feel like people really appreciate feedback from multiple people.
@Harry: A actually did really like the mask, just not necessarily in plain black! I can understand how her face would've been plain without it. That's so funny though! Maybe you subconsciously wanted her to be a superhero I think I'm gonna experiment some more with curly hair on simmies...I'm so used to doing super long straight strands! Really loved how yours came out this round...especially the color. I'll admit I somewhat modeled the color of Snow's hair for this round after it
@mynan: Awwhhh thank you!! I just love her So excited for all of you guys to edit her.
@Artist: Which tutorial are you talking about?
@Cookie: Congrats! You should be so proud
EDIT: @Alvie: Congrats!! I hope to see you entering again
So glad people are pumped about this Set! I thought I'd leave the requirements pretty open, similar to the last one, so people can really do what they like
Winners, your blog post will be coming later today.

Your location..not so great
I've read a tutoriral on how to add a background to an image and it's confuzzling me
What I do is I right-click on the layer the Sim is on, and then select "Add Alpha channel". Then I take my Lasso tool (top row in GIMP, third left) and click around my Sim. Once I'm done I hit Ctrl+I, them Ctrl+X. This makes a checkered background come up. This means it's transparent. Then I find the image I want as my background and save it, then click "File > Open as Layers..." then find the image in the window that pops up. The image will pop up in front of the Sim as a new layer, so I go to my Layers window and then click and drag the new layer underneath the layer named "Background", which the Sim is on. The image is now behind the Sim, so then I scale the image to my liking and I'm done.
I'm terrible at explaining things but hopefully this helps!
Alright, hope this is good enough.
I feel like it's missing something, but oh well. >.<
I also drew so much beautiful hair, but the adding of the hood kind of hid it all haha.
