Constructive criticism: yes
Comments: A very nice build. I especially like the outdoor cafe area overlokking the pond/lake. Great use of windows to bring in natural light. I enjoyed the computer stations being placed on the second floor(very creative with the balcony overlook).
I would have liked to have seen a better overhead view of each floor so I could have gotten a better view of the layout.
A wonderful build with great presence.

Constructive criticism: Yes please!
Comments: The landscaping in front of your library helped draw in your eye and was very pleasant. I loved the outdoor cafe on the second floor , since it gives a great view of the neighborhood.
I would have really liked to have seen fencing around the stairwells as a banister like in a real library. This lot has great curb appeal.
This was a very hard decision and was very close since you both had wonderful builds.
THE WINNER IS.....

I like the clasical style you chose, although I'm not real sure it's "fashion forward" I still think it's a nice build. I think the best advice I could give is to try to make the rooms a little smaller, it will make the build cheeper and be cheeper to fill in. Another good trick is to make the foundation hollow. The loft coffee bar was a good idea. Keeps the Coffee away from the books.
Scorpiophoenix:
The style of your build fits in well with the surounding homes. And your layout works very well. You've done well with blending your colors and textures threw out the build. I would have liked to see more landscaping outside.
THE WINNER IS.....

Intermediate Results : Build-n-Share #118-119 : Modern Townhouses
Alicat84 - I really like the colors you used throughout your town house. I love the architecture, simple yet beautiful! Creative use of the shelve in your bathroom! I would have liked to see some rugs in your bathroom. Also the sink you used in there is normally a kitchen sink. I like the use of ½ walls in your bathroom. Adorable ½ bath you have. What about a shelve or two above the washer and dryer? I like the colors you chose in there except I would have made the floor tiles a little darker to better match the wall. I do love that you added the washer and dryer to your ½ bath. You did a really good job! I love the pink bedroom! Such pretty color choices!
LandaX - It seems as if you chose each décor piece to perfection! I love the soft colors in the living room and the bright colors in the kitchen. I love the kitchen! Very modern! I really like the wicker walls in the bathroom; not something I would have thought of but it works really well!
AND THE WINNER IS...

CHALLENGE # 128-130 A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
BEGINNERS' RESULTS
SimiHendrixEXP #1: Nice curb appeal on this build. I really like the windows. The pool area is also nice. Gus should really like the kitchen. The living room is a nice place especially for the family. Could of used a bit more clutter and landscaping in my opinion.
vgmusicbooks: I really liked the color usage and pattern usage. Layout of this home is very nice and thought out. Nice inclusion of outdoor space! Could have used more pics to show of your build in it's completeness.
SimiHendrixEXP #2: Thoughtful home layout. Had a decent amount of curb appeal. I liked your use of textures within the interior. Mastee bedroom looked comfy and inviting. The rug in the living room was well done. The study in my opinion was a bit too bright for the rest of the house, it did not flow as well.
Freizha: Nice build. I liked your comprehensive use of patterns within the palette. You made good use of the palette that you chose. Home was inviting and cozy. It was a littlle sparse but with the limited budget I can understand. You were the only one to use the holiday decor within the house and made good usage to complement your build.
Caylynn: The nursery was my favorite part of this build. Mikey was a lucky boy for getting this room. The curb appeal was magnificent. The garden flowers really brought in your eye. In my opinion a little more clutter throughout the home would have added a homey touch. Nice work!
I decided to add an honorable mention to the list this week since we had five entries as well as the optional challenge winners.
Winner: Caylynn
Honorable Mention Winner: SimiHendrixEXP for Lot 2
Optional Challenge #1 Winner: Freizha
Optional Challenge #2 Winner: vgmusicbooks

Challenge 106-107 Summer Designer Showdown - Beginner Results
Just one entry for beginners this challenge, so Freizha is our winner
Like the color of the exterior siding. Nice use of terrain paint. Love the pond and fishing boat. This must be a nautical theme using the life preserver! Like the color scheme in downstairs area. Cute recreation area on the sun porch. Moving upstairs, like the creation of a family room in the common space. Appropriate number of bedrooms and baths are included. Nice job!
Suggestions: Make the most of your budget – push it to the last $$! Fill in extra space in rooms with plants and “clutter” to get a more lived in look. Same thing outside. Trees and bushes can be used to fill large space, then add splashes of color with flowers with any leftover $$.
Great Job!

116 – 117 Let’s Start Over - Advanced Results
Just one entry here, so Aquacatt is our Winner!!!
Love the architecture! It’s a true Arts and Crafts creation. Great siding and roof color combo. Nice, inviting front entry. Cute planters to accent the flower beds and tree areas. The roofline is especially well done. Love the landscaping around the pond. Nice use of upstairs space with loft, bathroom and bedroom. Very funky mix of the traditional interiors expected of a Craftsman house with some cool modern design touches. Love that mid-century pattern on the kids’ bathroom wallpaper. Bella’s room is adorable. Love the master space - great eclectic design. You hit all the high points in your design!
Suggestions – not much to add here. You could have built a little smaller so that the rooms would appear more filled with the furniture and design options chosen.

120-121 Fall is in the Air - Intermediate Results
Ha123
Like the use of color and wood texture in the dining room. Cute arrangement of cabinets in the kitchen for a custom “island” look. Nice transition of colors into the family room. Love the custom twin bed in the upstairs bedroom. Lovely CC rug in the master bedroom. Like the exterior living space provided by the front octagonal porch. Nice garage addition. Nice view from the front porch.
Suggestions – try building a little smaller and using some of the savings to add “clutter” décor like plants and paintings to each room.
MissAnya2U
Cute exterior. Like the front porch and two car garage (my husband would approve!) Nice inclusion of the autumn theme in the patterns on the front porch chairs and welcome mat. Very nice interior layout. Like the inclusion of the laundry room. Love the stone fireplace. Fantastic kitchen with island – love the island stovetop. Color scheme and theme are nicely integrated throughout the build without being overwhelming. Back sun porch is gorgeous. Cute rear landscaping.
Suggestions – Not much to add. From the back yard shots it looks like the porch roof might not tie in seamlessly to the rest of the roof. Also, try making the larger section of roof on the back where the pitch faces the view go in one tile (with the layout of your house) so that the extra roof part disappears on the outside.
Rnramey
First shot of the house is lovely. Great use of color and texture. Like that you’ve filled your interior space. Love the tile backsplash in the kitchen. Love the sunporch and exterior patio. Kitchen area with tile backsplash is very nice. Live the living areas attached to it. Fantastic front porch. Super cute front landscaping.
Suggestions – Play with your camera settings to give your lot the best vantage. Don’t zoom way out while in camera mode - it gives you pictures a “fisheye” effect. Watch oversaturation of colors – mix in neutrals to balance. Work on roofline blending
And the winner is...
MissAnya2U! Nice job

120 – 121 Fall is in the Air - Advanced Results
Just one entry for this category, so ZYisSims is our winner!
I’m in love with this build from the first exterior shot. Adore the roofline/front porch combo. Great landscaping and exterior color choices. Love the use of stone on the exterior. The chocolate brown siding in yummy. The lines of the carport when viewed with the wrap-around porch are fantastic. Lovely front entry with fall decorations. Lovely interior layout. Like the kitchen space. Cute tile backsplash. Love the outdoor playhouse! Nice upstairs area. Lovely master suite.
Suggestions – not much to add here. For my taste, the interiors might have been a little monotone. Try picking one strong accent color for each area and letting that color shine through use of lighter neutrals.
Amazing job overall!
