Oh yes, forgot to say, he was the easiest Sim ever to get happy points for. One away from promotion to Lifetime wish, 7,000 for maxing writing, countless points for writing books. Was easy to 'midlife crisis' him to some easier 'social traits' Ended up being pretty much my most favourite sim to play! He also collected a quick 750 points for tatoos! He wants them all the time!

Wow, that's interesting!
I never had that situation before, I mean, my females sims never had sims who had hearts around them, when they see my sims (?).
By the way, I have a question: can I have a situation like this? Somebody knows, somebody help me?
ps - sorry my english...
I keep hanging out with him and matthews traits are flirty. great kisser. and committed issues :p so thats probably why he does that but he doesnt do that to other sims

That was that Perfectionist trait! It's horrible. It makes them critisise everyone all the time! Also they are forever looking in the mirror. Awful. The poor thing is a gentle Cancerian! No wonder he is such a disaster with the mix of traits they gave him. He's way more fun with Virtuoso and Bookworm.

His last name is funny. 'Hamming'
"HAMMING"
That last name belongs to a hamster. Matthew Hamming the Hamster.
Not to offend anyone with that last name. The point I'm trying to get to is that he has an odd first and last name. I doubt there is anyone in real life sharing his names.

This is a pretty old thread, but I have to add while on the subject of his last name, that while Hamming is a legitimate surname, I want to believe that it alludes to Matthew Hamming being a bad actor despite his 5-star celebrity status.
This is mainly due to the association of his last name being Hamming and it's semblance to the term Ham (not the meat ).
Ham actors are actors that needlessly exaggerate and are generally just not very good actors, unless of course the role calls for such acting, then I guess it works. XD
Atleast, that's the feeling I get from it. It's just a thought.
That being said, I don't mind Matthew, but if I'm playing a Single Sim, I always steal his house and kick him out to the one across the street.
(If this was mentioned previously, sorry, but I had to say it and I didn't want to go through 12 pages of old threads to see if someone else said it. )

I had Matthew marry Elvira in my game and they had the most gorgeous children! Their first, Rosalie is my avi and is a spitting image of her mum.
Twins Alice and Esmay
Son Matthew Jr

I had my Sim-woman marry him many moons ago. He was easy to become friends with (they eventually married) but it was hell getting him to WooHoo with her. Even after they were engaged, he'd reject her. After marriage however... *shrug* Maybe he's an old-fashioned sort of guy.
He ended up being a good father; far better than his wife who would ignore the kids, sneak dirty looks at them, and wanted to send them off to the military boarding school as soon as they aged into children.
Weirdly enough, of his male descendants looked just like him (but with different hair colors) and all descendants were absurdly thin like him.

There was this LPer who had one of his female sims marry Matthew. The girls last name was Bag, so he became Matthew Bag. They had a kid named Garbage Bag.
Anyone remember HeadbuttArcade??

Matthew is a very good looking sim with great features (as we know some of them have crazy eyes or noses or whatever), plus he is a top of the line celebrity, has a gorgeous mansion in the perfect spot, and other than commitment issues he is a great sim. Many of the others are either taken, have terrible personalities,or are vamps.
