Maybe that's why they (badly) photoshopped in a replacement face for her on the KPST box art - she's in the same dress, probably making the same uncomfortable face in the original photo. They could've switched her into normal clothes, let her recover, and gotten a better smiling face to swap in for the cover art!

I am a little insulted about all the tween comments really, I will be 40 this year and I like Katy Perry's music I am not one to go ga ga over stars and I am not easily impressed by them but I do get excited when I get a chance to met a SimGuru and chat to them via skype lol

I love the content in the pack and know some people who love it to, my 10 year old son loves it as well. I think there is nothing wrong about people not liking something or not agreeing with everything but I don't like it when people are overly critical and rude about it or act like the Sims team owes them something. It isn't the Sims teams fault if you can't afford a game. I value the work they put into my game and understand their difficulties in trying to work out the issues we have within this game so I don't mind paying the extra.

There are many people not buying the SP due to the price who can well afford to buy it and would buy it except for what the price hike was for.

If EA said, look we need to charge more because we have a bigger team, and things cost more with salaries and overhead and all the hard work we do and all the issues we deal with so now the SPs will need to be $29.99 now I think most of us would have shrugged, said we understood and bought the darned thing.

But what they said is that this was going to be a mega pack, more content then ever seen before, just dozens and dozen more items then ever, and that's not what appears to be happening. It was not hard to figure out that the extra $10 was mostly for KP's endorsement just like why the KPC edition of Showtime was $10 more then the regular version and both contained the exact same things, except for KP on teh box and her poster inside (unless you got a DD then you did not even get the poster). It was pretty obvious that this was not due to the team working hard or anything else but to put money into KP's pocket without touching the normal amount EA usually makes on a SP.

The whole 'mega stuff pack' story never even came out until after people started raising points about the increased cost of this SP to benefit KP and why we could not have an opt out version for those that did not care to have KP's face on the box and could then pay $10 less like they did with Showtime. Even then I suspect many would have still found the pack of little use to them but the people that buy and collect everything sims would have gone ahead and gotten it, just to have it in the collection, if they were not having to pay for the endorsement.

I think that is just guessing and making issues that doesn't need to be worried about. SimGuruJenn did say there was a lot more in this pack and I believe her, the team are very nice and love what they have created. It is always going to cost more when there are more items and more meshes as well as working with anyone including a celebrity, SimGuruJenn did say they worked with her and she approved things and gave input so really she should get paid anyways

HELS had 71 items in it and it was the same price as all other stuff packs. And as I have said in other posts I think that $10 hike is to cover for an endorsement that none of us have asked for. So why should we have to pay for something that was not (from what I've seen) asked for? EA wanted it they should have footed the bill themselves and charged regular price. Here is all I see the 24th of this month will seriously make or break this pack because there are some on the fence.

I'm inclined to believe her too. I see no reason not to right now.

Yes, please! I am really, really hoping the candy dots dress and those shoes are included. That was my favorite outfit from the California Gurls video.
