Oh Rflong not you too. what is going on?
Tangie and Reg thanks for the info. It helps me make some decisions.
I think I will skip Plav Raj. It is beautiful, but now I am busy playing my YAs in their new houses. Tomorrow I will be keeping my eye out for Alexspooms new world. Need to turn off the hoses and get busy also my youngest granddaughter will be coming over soon. Need to update Origin again.

Hi all. Gem, I hope you feel a little less stressed today and am sure glad that DM could make you smile.
Nilxis, thank you for taking the time to stop by the thread and even post a pic to answer Gem's questions. Although, I don't think Plav Raj is for me because I simply don't do well with worlds where buildings are placed so close together, up and down drift gives me vertigo, your effort to know that all questions are answered will make me pay close attention to other offerings you may come up with in the future. It is apparent your projects will be carefully thought out, created with love and will be made to the best of your ability, which looks to be considerable.
Rukaya, I think all Rflong's worlds are okay. It looks like the links I've had for some time in my studio were outdated and she offers them elsewhere now. I also know what you mean about waiting on sales. I decided to hold off for a sale on the new Cambodian set. I like it but didn't see anything that I couldn'w wait to have at better pricing. Now, LL and the Fiesta set are a different story, LOL. Those I just couldn't wait on and don't regret my decision not to wait for a sale on them.
Thanks for the info on the subways, Tangie. Don't open the save just to see. I already can see how a reciprocal station would be beneficial from the top lots. Hope the house building went well today.
Blooper pic from LL. Reggie went to the hospital to give birth. Soon after she entered and prior to Pete getting there, Gretel Sekemoto arrived on the lot. She marched to the back of the building and started the panic dance sims do when another sim is in labor. Since Reggie was already in the building, this was hilarious to watch. Probably one of those things you might have to see to appreciate, the pic doesn't convey the moment like the in game happening but thought I would share it anyway.
Oh, Reggie and Pete now have a daughter names Rebecca.

Thanks for sharing the pic, DD!
I have a couple of toddlers for you all.
The first one is Rflong's and Christian Writin, they married in my game recently.
The second one is the daughter of Tangie and Jackson Brody.
Tangie got upset with James and banished him to Rflong's "Castaway Island"!
His new home. I swear I am not making this up!! Well maybe just a little!

LOL, DM, I'm so glad you don't make things up. Banished to Castaway Island pic, cracked me up.
Seeing that, I remembered a sort of blooper pic I took in GFH. This was saved in my pic file under the title "DM Whats This"...so what is it? It looks like a sand castle and if my sim had had an option to kick it, I would have!
ETA pic,

I am looking for a large world which is playable for long time, lots of different areas. I was wondering whether I should chose to play LA or Setra.
But I would like to know if there are more world which matches my needs. Thank you.

LOL, DD,Tangie and DM those blooper pictues are too funny. Sent to exile on an island, ROFLOL, . Those toddlers are so very cute.
I know, I am so very tempted to get the Fiesta set now, but I have caved in before which seems to be the signal for what ever I am waiting for to go on sale. My granddaughter is here for the weekend so it is going to be a busy day. Am checking on sales and waiting for Alexspooms Suburban Springs Beta version to be posted so I can dl it and start testing it. Will keep you all posted on how it goes.

Hi, Diamondkool. Did you check the World Index? It's difficult to recommend a world to someone because people have different tastes. Between the two you mentioned, I think people have experienced fewer problems (as far as I know) with Setra. LA-ST still needs some work so if you want something that's ready to play go with Setra.
DM and DD your pics were priceless! And I cracked up over James being banished to the island. What a gorgeous shot of the sunset!
I posted an exterior shot of the new Mediterranean house in my studio under media. I would link to it here, but I haven't got a clue how to do that! It's the first pic shown, if anyone is interested. http://www.thesims3.com/myMedia.html?action=default&persona=Hap pySimmer3
I downloaded another world by Nilxis so I could check it out. It was inspired by Greenland's southwestern coast and it's called Saaqartoq. I haven't a clue how to pronounce it but it looks charming from the screenshots he posted in his blog.

Tangie, I clicked on that and was taken to your studio? I couldn't find your new house. I am in the mood to build another house, and am trying to decide between 2 plans. Hayati [my granddaughter] is leaning towards one and I am torn between that one and one other. decisions, decisions.

Hey, guys! Just checking in real quick! I've been super busy lately. Sorry about the worlds, Gem and Rflong. Maybe there was a small, minor detail that you're overlooking? Or there's some jerk going around, reporting and taking down a bunch of people's worlds.
Anyways, I came here to see if you've heard about this yet! It was just posted today on SimsVIP.
The 7th Sims 3 EP has been unoficially announced! The Sims 3: Supernatural! September 7th, 2012 is the supposed release date.
Also, apparently, they are releasing another limited addition version of an EP! I wouldn't use any money just yet, though... Let's wait and see where they take this limited edition! Perhaps even another collector's addition may come out!
Whatever's happening, I'm getting it. Making' Magic was my favorite EP from the original Sims! I hope they didn't mess this one up again!
(I sure hope they come up with a better name for that EP.)

Yep - the name alone has my money. MM was and always will be my most fav ep of the Sims ever - believe me if it wasn't such a hassle to play the older games on my pc it would ALMOST be enough to make me rebuy all Sims 1, the one downfall Sims 1 had was the kids part thing - I could never go back to babies poofing into existence and kids staying kid age forever. But If that is remotely like MM, they have my money - the Good Lord willing, that is - but lets not go there. Excited just from that title. I don't care what they call it - I want it. I have enough REAL life - believe me and if I can escape to a fantasy environment with out having to kill things - they have my money. The killing or be killed part is the only thing that keeps me from playing other fantasy/supernatural games - which is why Sims is far preferred.... Not that it matters what I think really - thank you Bunbunny for that info. September is good. I have my next grueling medical tests in September. Bone marrow test are always super painful I have learned. So if that is the date I will have the game before the tests at the end of September.

Hi everyone!
DM, I had been to that lot several times and didn't notice it. Since Kevin has been a singer it seems that I get sent there to deliver a Sing-O-Gram twice a sim day, LOL. Since I don't normally even have an urge to kick the flamingos, I got tickled at how badly I wanted to kick the "looks like a sand castle" thing. BTW, the toddler pics are so cute and the one of Tangie's daughter was the perfect lead in to James's banishment pic.
Bun, thanks for the info on the new EP. Interesting but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I have no interest in werewolves whatsoever and I don't normally even use the magic objects available now. I'll just wait and see how info develops. I like the idea of new sliders which some got a preview of with the EA blooper patch 1.32, although I didn't get them personally.
Diamondkool, I would suggest Rflong's Longview or DM's Greenfeather Hills if you are looking for a large world that will have longevity through more EP/SP releases. You don't mention which EPs you have but Rflong has a base game only version for Longview and then a version updated through Generations, I believe. Oh, you could also consider her Mesa Valley II, if you want a desert world. It also updates easily and is available updated through Pets.
DM's GFH is updated through Pets as well. His world is available on his blog just click his sig. to get there. Rflong has a thread with all her available worlds you could look through. I don't mean to suggest these are the only 3 worlds that will work. LOL, as I type, I'm reminded that Johnnywr's Great Bear would probably work for what I'm interpreting you want. Do browse the World Index, you will most likely find other candidates as well.
Tangie, I don't think we can see your media tab. I, too, was taken to your studio page and no media tab is available.
Speaking of building...Gem, does the apt. bldg. in pics I'm going to add look familiar? It's your Asyllium (sp?) apt. bldg. from Lothlorien that I redid to a 2bd, 2bath unit and binned. I love this apt. bldg and think it is in every save I've got going.
I was desperate to get an apt. in LL to house NPC's generated for the clubs and ST venues so I started redoing the exterior last night and am super pleased with how it stands now. I'm going to bin it again for a more modern hood once I figure out what I'm going to do with the windows. I got tired and couldn't make a final decision last night.
The first pic I took after just landscaping the actual lot with LL trees. It still looked a little barren, so the second pic shows addtl. trees that I added with the WE and I think it looks much better.

And to think you said you can't build! hehehe okay - it's a remodel, but still - good job DD, looks great and really looks like it was made just for LL.

Oh, yeah. They also have my money. I'm just saying, that if I know The Sims 3 at all, which I think that I do, making a hasty decision will result in your own financial loss. For example, people who jumped to preorder ST:LE got cheated if they couldn't cancel their preorder in order to buy ST:CE if they wanted it. Same with Pets and P:LE.
Also, Barnacle Bay. Literally the day after I bought it, they released the Barnacle Bay: Complete Adventure! I was furious!
And yeah, I get what you're saying about IRL and escaping to The Sims... That's part of what made the original Sims so special and magical to me as I was growing up with The Sims! And still to the current generation of The Sims 3 and beyond, TS will always be my "happy place."
Anyways, with that said, it is my most favorite EP of all time, too, if WA is not. But what would put TS3:SN over the top for me would be if they made magical Wizard tombs, similar to the concept of the WA tombs, but with a complete makeover and gameplay structure. Solving puzzles using different spells that you've learned, solving puzzles that can only be viewed or completed by looking into a mirror, different types and variations of traps that don't just have several different types of dangers blasting at you from the same exact hole in the wall or ground...
Something like that would sell to me 200% in a heartbeat!
