Sounds like you're close! I'm asking for a minimum of 3 bedrooms in the home. If you're asking about how to furnish the rooms, I leave that entirely up to you.

Just 13 days to go, everyone! I'm pushing hard on my Asian build too; might just get it done in time afterall.

Sorry,my english is not so good.I left three empty rooms,if I put in one of the room double bed, and in another one two beds with kids stuff, and in the last room only one bed - are count as three bedrooms or not.? I think is only language problem, but I have to be shure.I am about two months here on this site, and many things are new for me.I build a little modern house, hope is ok. Cheers

I'm sure Bryonyrae will reply soon but meanwhile, what you describe would definitely count as 3 bedrooms. A bedroom is a room with one or more beds in it. It doesn't matter how many for this particular build. Good luck with the build.

New Cottage

Once a quaint little stone cottage, the previous owners of this 3-bedroom, 2-bath house have worked tirelessly to transform it into a contemporary family home. Built around the old structure of the stone cottage, the new additions boast more space to play and entertain - perfect for a young family. Decorated in a fun mix of graphic patterns and bold colours.

Tons of photos here.

Wishlist: anything except clothes.

BryonyRae wrote:Thanks for the interest, everyone! I look forward to seeing your entries. To answer the questions so far:

One entry per person, please. You're welcome to show off any and all builds you have that meet the contest requirements, but please choose one for consideration.

You may nominate a friend to receive the prize if you win. Just please make sure they actually want the set beforehand!

No CC of any kind, including patterns. I'm sorry; I appreciate a great pattern as much as anyone, but I just won't bring CC of any kind into my game anymore.

Tricky question about the basement garage. I really don't want any separate levels in main living structures. I tend to consider the garage as a main living structure, even if it is detached. Really, the only kind of stairs I envisioned allowing were those required due to elevation, i.e. home on a hillside or for outdoor use, i.e. stairs up to a pool area or raised deck. Another question I could see coming up is whether sunken living rooms and such are okay; they are, as the sim wouldn't actually be going up or down a level.

I have no experience with the Mac at all, sorry, but I am sure there are many people out there who do. If no one is able to answer your question on this thread, I'd recommend posting a separate thread with the question.

Edit:

Ironically, the Bauhaus set is today's daily deal! I may lose some contestants due to this, but I think it's only fair to let you guys know. It's not a huge discount, but it rarely goes on sale at all. If you'd rather not wait on the outcome of a contest, you might want to check it out now.

BryonyRae in an earlier post on 2nd page of thread you mentioned that sunken living room would be okay, but I have a question. For a raised home with garage attached it would need minimal stairs to step up into the home. They would not be a full flight of stairs, but like steps that lead into the home. It would be that the garage is sunken (rather than living room). So would that be okay?

robotentity, unfortunately I cannot yet accept your entry because there is a custom content object in your file. The description shown in Custard is: "ATS3KitchenAccessories-Washing-upLiquid - BySandy@AroundTheSims3." I hope this information will help you locate and eliminate the object. Please let me know when/if you re-upload the lot without CC. Thanks!
