Put me down as a NO.
To be honest, I didn't want it before watching the 'walkthrough' which apparently didn't show all the stuff.
I watched it & am now less impressed.
Considering the big reveal for Master Suites was a face mask which I have yet to even try on a sim in CAS as I really don't think it's 'super fun', I don't hold out much hope that the second walkthrough is going to be much better.
This pack is so overpriced, it makes in store items look cheap.
The Lush Life pack has 46 items & cost less than a tenner, going by store pricing this stuff pack needs to contain at least 100 unique items (not recolours or stencils)
As stuff packs are traditionally better value than store packs, I would say they would need somewhere in the region of 150 unique items to make me consider any stuff pack at this price.
After all, unlike an ep, this will add absolutely no new functionality & only 3 lots, none of them new meshes for existing rabbit holes - less than Town Life added for £10.
If you include Barnacle Bay or Hidden Springs, which are sold for the same price as a stuff pack in this category, they came with an entire world, new build, buy & CAS items & plenty of new lots. These even came with new rabbit hole lots (Pirate ship diner & Spa).
I have a horrible feeling that they are counting each different stencil or recolour of an item as an individual product in their item count.
I appreciate EA adding 4 stencils to a product, especially if they actually make them available in game instead of me having to rely on a community member to link them to the item but I do not regard it as the same as having 4 items.
I actually found the cupcake bra to be somewhat disturbing, when you see a sim from the distance it looks like they are wearing a pair of fake breasts.
They could have at least have made it available for men as they seem to have no trouble with bad taste.
That way my nectar louts could have worn it out on a stag do/pub crawl to the local Dive Bars & I would think EA had shown some sense of humour in creating this underwhelming pack.
The lack of clothing options for children, teens & elders is as usual pathetic but the lack of options for men of the YA/Adult group is just plain ridiculous as they are meant to be part of this pack.
Is there a male hair with an upside down ice-cream cone (which could be recoloured as a traffic cone) in this pack?
Or any male hair at all?
Still wouldn't buy it even though my birthday is on June 6th.

Yes, when the price goes down at least 50%. I'll buy it only because of these two dresses
First dress from the left
http://www.flickr.com/photos/simsvip/6895852642/
Second dress from the left
http://www.flickr.com/photos/simsvip/6895852752/
I guess the candy cane striped dress and jumpsuit might be fine, too. I'll just use mod to blacklist all the other pieces. The price still makes me think if I should buy a real dress or two for myself instead
I liked the idea of candy trees at first, but based on the pictures I've seen so far, they don't look that great either.

14 pages and the majority is no....
and the SP team only cares about what they hear on Facebook and Twitter and all the support they are getting there instead of the longest existing Sims3 community who they know to be here we have to have the game. They have no evidence on twitter and Facebook who has the game or who even knows what they are talking about but just want to get a twitter/FB answer from an EA dev.
I feel like they completely ignored what this community is saying here and went with the 'group' that they had positive feedback from - although on FB they can delete any negative comments they don't like from their wall so anyone reading thinks it a good thing and jumps on the bandwagon.
I use both twitter/Facebook but for usual important things - I guess I am going to have to classify this as important and go comment there cause they are certainly NOT paying attention to this forum and this community.
I have, in the past, argued extensively and drawn out points of how EA does listen as they can and if they can make changes - this time I have to agree with all those who say they don't listen. They could fix this but they won't because they don't want to or they think they know better then us.
Post how you feel on Facebook and see how long it stays there. Tweet how unhappy you are and watch it disappear....

Add another NO to that one. Not a KP fan, although I have nothing against her. Won't pay the higher price and WON'T buy an sp that is totally useless to me.

It will be the first The Sims-game I will not buy. I really don't see the point in making all the Sims candy...

I was gonna say yes because I was under the impression that this stuff pack would give our sims the ability to make sweet treats but instead it's giving our sims the ability to sit on sweet treats and be surrounded by so called sweet treats that they cannot eat or bake or make. But now I'm saying NO!
Don't be suprised to see the store come up with a bakery, icecream or candy shop that actually functions as such to go with this stuff pack.
I know I've suggested it to the store team on many occasions.
As for me Yes from day one I will be buying this. I preordered it yesterday from Gamestop.
If the store comes up with this, I would certainly buy it as that would be useful. It still won't convince me to buy this SP. Although EA could fix 3 small things and make this a buyable SP.

No. I've liked all of the SP's thus far, but this one just doesn't belong in the Sims 3. I doubt many people at all are going to want 'cutesy candy land' furniture in their homes. That's not to say no one will, but in a Life Simulator, the 'cutesy candy land' theme just doesn't fit. I mean really, who would put that stuff in their homes or wear that sort of clothing?
