This might be an ambitions bug, but my sims skill wasn't going up, so i sent him for a class. when he came out from the class, the skill bar was halfway up (Athletic), but it wouldnt go any futher. Suggestions?

I teleported one of my children to the front of the house to catch the school bus and she was taken out of my family? I don't know where she is! I even tried to reset sim!

Can someone help me??

bit of a weird bug.Live chat/tech told me to post here....
My sims can not leave their street.The "no route/walk" icone keeps coming above their heads.
It's a fresh install and saves folder was moved and re-set,as per tech teams instructions,but to no avail.I can't even go shopping to buy food.Resetsim did not work the 4 times i tried it...well,didn't help should I say
Been playing for years but this just does not want to work...

I put the household inc house into Riverview and it's STILL happening!Everyone that comes to my lot has to teleport themselves out.I can't go to work,I can't buy food....My sims have become hermits!

My sim can't complete the "pick up food for shoot" thing for the film career. he picks up the food and returns to work but it doesn't complete.

Any and all such "features" AKA "Bugs" in any and all EA titles are so fixable: simply uninstall the software and move on to some other activity. Why risk the disappointment of game crashing errors and your hard earned cash--why buy any game with a time and again proven track record of unending performance problems? It's a 'Win Win': not to buy not to play, it's the EA way!

My boyfriend has been trying to convince me to switch to a 64 bit, haha. He said I wouldn't have any Sim issues b/c of the ram? But me being lazy, I didn't feel like backing up anything and still haven't. Anyway I was reading your post, and I swear I've read that post many times since I always have sim issues and I always have to come back here! LOL And finally it clicked, when you mentioned a 64bit system, loool. I was thinking ohhh, that thing my boyfriend was talking about, right.

Now to cut to the chase. I recently used Grant's fixer (CC fix for Pets) whilst I had LateNight buildings in Appaloosa, and now I'm crashing whenever I visit a club. I was wondering, anyone else have this problem? I changed my memory usage(again) as I always do, b.c when I took it off. b.c of you what you wrote, it was still slow and I crashed even sooner! Why did Ea even bother adding it (the memory patch) and if they were going to, why didn't they just do it for every game? Anyway, I changed my memory usage/deleted cache/and added all the Dep I needed, but sill to no avail. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again in advance.

I havent played late night in several months due to all the bugs ruining my game. do any of the recent patches fix these or should i just continue not to bother?

I will really throw my laptop in pieces if the sims 3 launcher stops working.

But I Never had problems with it, so my laptop is safe XD.

I didn't see this listed, but my sim wont moonlight for long. Ill have her moonlight but as soon as another sim that she knows walks into the bar, she will stop and wave to that person. Well my sim happens to know almost everyone, so she stops all the time. to say hi. How do i make her continue to keep moonlighting without this

PS- my sim is losing their celebrity status. one day they're on level 5, then the next day they go back to level 4. this happens constantly. then i have to bring them back up to 5 with master controller, but the next day it happens again!

OK, I hope someone can help me here. My Sim is in Appaloosa Plains and there are 2 band members in my band. Before patch 1.29, my Sim was able to get gigs but after patching the game to the latest patch, there are no gig opportunities!

Why is this so? Also I never register my Sim as a self employed and he was still able to get gigs. By the way, I created 4 band instruments for my town as Appaloosa Plains does not have the opportunity to play gigs unless one creates one.

Is anybody else facing the same problem? What should I do now? Should I restart my game?

One of the problems that I'm having is that I do not have the ability to hire a butler, it is not listed under services.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug. I have 4 expansion packs installed (LATE NIGHT, Ambitions, Generations, and Pets). My sims in Bridgeport had a family with 2 kids, and when the 3rd child (daughter) was brought home from the hospital, the option "Change Name" in the City hall disappeared as well as the Sue for Slander. The option Pay off Paparazzi and Deflect Scandal also disappeared when rumors had been spreading about them, etc.

So, what I did is to create a new game with a new sim (saved separately) but also in Bridgeport.Everything went well and later the same problem occurred. The change name, sue for slander, deflect scandal and pay off paparazzi also disappeared.

Do you have some solutions on how to correct this problem?

Yeh I still can't get into a house when I get invited to a party, its very annoying. Flats are fine thought.
