So there are career objects? I've been to the top of 2 career tracks and havent gotten career objects

Thanks for posting this. I choose the wrong career, I choose music. Now she's rock star and I'm stuck riding around in an ugly pink limo. I want to drive my own car

This is secondhand though.

You get the refrigerator at Level 10 -- but around Level 5 or 6 you get a food processor but I'm not sure if it's any better than the one you can get through Buy mode. The refrigerator also gives a "Superior Equipment" positive moodlet for I think about an hour after you've eaten food made from it.

Angler and Green Thumb might also help on Culinary track because some of the challenges involve bringing in fish or produce to the restaurant, which adds a boost to your job performance and helps to get the promotions. (My single Sim is already at the top of the Culinary track, and he got his lifetime wish which was to learn all the recipes.)

I've been wanting to see a list like this for ages. Thanks very much. Also I think you get a bleeper when you go into law enforcement (spy branch definately), and you unlock the determine gender at level 7 and some point after that you can give amazing medical advice.

Also it will be helpful if your sims is not only a virtuoso but also a genius.

This doesn't seem to have been mentioned, but at Level 4 of the Law Enforcement career, your sim can arrest (fight) burglars that enter their house.
However, if your Law Enforcement sim has the Good trait, they can't fight the burglar. Reckoning is the Arrest/Fight interaction is a mean interaction, so it simply isn't available for Good sims. (This also applies to Brave + Good sims, they can't fight the burglar either, which Brave sims normally can do).

In journalism, you can dig through people's trash cans to find out their dirty secrets (and pocket trash or more interesting items they're thrown away--my sims found an enormous space rock worth over $200k.)

That can't happen since some one on the Neoskeer forum said a buglar entered her house but her 1 sim was a cop and couldn't arrest her.
