Hey RFlong, do you have empty version of Longview II with the bridge? I would be appreciated.

Connor, that "Skyrim" trailer was amazing. I like the looks of the new "Dishonored" game as well.

Hi, all. Thank you for the nice comments about my new house.
And thanks for the info on how to post pics uploaded with the launcher, DM. It seems like I tried that but obviously I did something wrong. And yes, the new build is BIG. It started with the 3-car garage. I don't know why EA had to make the parking spaces so long, especially since they took away the car animations in TS3. Anyway, after that I was just trying to recreate the rest of the floor plan and the house grew and grew. Of course I did adapt it - for example the floor plan had 4 arches across the front of the house and I cut that down to 3! It would be a interesting challenge to try to rebuild it on a smaller scale, but I won't be doing that anytime soon.
I'm holding off on the new game patch until all my mods are updated. Here I thought I might have a stable game for quite some time since atm I have no plans to purchase any upcoming SP or EP. Of course I could change my mind, but unless they put things in the Supernatural EP that appeal to me, AND make it possible to keep monsters out of hoods when I don't want them there, then I won't be buying it. But you know I've said that before, so we'll see! I really should just take a complete break from simming for the summer so I can get some other things done.

The house is very nice, Tangie. I rec'd and d/l'ed it as well. I would recommend a break from the Sims, you need one now and then. I know we have been doing a lot of yard work and fighting with Mr. Sun to keep the pond clean. As hot and sunny as it's been, the algae is taking over.
You're welcome on the picture posting info of course. I have no idea why EA decided to hide our media pages anyway.

Hi Rflong. DOLLDRMS1 posted here yesterday about my bridge problem and I was hoping you could offer some more help.
I've taken a look at the bridge myself and noticed that Sims are getting stuck on it. Regarding its height, here are some pictures. Is it too high up? Also, do I need to raise the terrain a little so the bridge flatly meets the ground?
Here is a Sim walking across the bridge. On this bit, he just walks through it. He later got stuck.
I've taken a look at the Twinbrook bridge and noticed that not only is it lower but that the roads themselves seem to be higher either side than they are in my world.
Will I have to replace my bridge in order to stop Sims getting stuck or is it fixable?

Hi,
Yes, it's too high. You see where it lifts- like a ramp? The bridge needs to be level so those ramps need to be lowered into the ground... Straight from ground to bridge- to make it look normal as if that Sim were walking onto the bridge-and not into the bridge.
Did you check out the bridge in Twinbrook? See how low it is.

Ah so do I just need to raise the terrain either side so that the ramp doesn't show?
I was trying to compare my bridge to the Twinbrook one (the bottom picture of my last post). Does it just need to be lower to the terrain? Are the actual bridge supports ok to be on show as long as the bridge is nearer the ground? I think I've repeated myself there.

I would go in and show you some pictures but I uninstalled Showtime last night, now neither my game nor CAW is working. lol!
You can keep testing it to find the right level. I think I used the mods in EIG to make a Sim to test- didn't save so the Sim didn't stay in the World files.

Hi again Rflong.
I've lowered the ground either side of the bridge so that you cannot see the ramps. However, Sims now won't cross it at all unless by car.
Here are the sides of the bridge as they look now.

Dutchy, really cute sim and house. Dl'd and recc all.
DM I checked out your updated GFH and really like what you did. 2 questions...where do you get the sky dive tower and is this new GFH CC free except for store items which I don't mind. Loved your first GFH so would love to get this one. AARgh you reminded me of weeds. Because of all our different ground covers in our yard for the foresty look we love, it is hard for most people to notice the weeds, but we know they are there, plus the neighbor's Algerian and English Ivies keeps invading our yard . EEEk, I know I am going to have to get out there and try to wage the eternal war with the weeds.
My granddaughter and I spent 4 hours playing Alexspoom13 's Suburban springs. Plan to play some more when I get back from my doctor's appointment this AM. Glad to see DD already tested the bridge, that is one thing we know we don't have to test. Hayati is doing a great job with the testing after I showed her what to look for. Today I am going to play my sim Emily who I placed in Tangie's new house. SS has only a few houses which filled up really fast. I had to place a lot more. Just about filled up all but a few of the largest lots. Put houses of all different price ranges in there. Wild life started spawning nicely by the second day. We had a lot of fun at the carnival. Hayati loved the shows at the Karaoke place.
Also just installed the new update.

Rukaya, GFHI and II are both CC free. The skydiving center is free in the store, it came with one of the cars I believe.

Dutchy! I'm glad you had a nice vacation. Your Sim looks so cute. Is she loaded with a custom skin? Her preview pic looks like she is wearing a custom skin. If so, which skintone is it? I don't have custom skins in my game yet but might load them when I reinstall on Windows. The house is really nice looking and will fit in well among the chalets I have on either Hidden Spring or Ridgeview.
Wow I didn't realize how touchy the bridges were in this game. I hope you guys get it all sorted out and working, Rflong and Alexspoom13.
I did download and install the patch. I didn't notice anything unusual. But my game is plain vanilla EA and so I don't have any mods or cc that would be affected.

I'm having to reinstall all my games to get CAW to work again. Let me get a picture...
It has to be flat to whatever level your ground is and you'll have to keep testing it to get the right level.
Flat to the ground...(finally found the picture)
