For example, by maxing out the energy need, will they still sleep if I tell them too or will they refuse because they have plenty of energy already? Or refuse to eat because their hunger need is already completely satisfied?

They will stay satisfied for exactly ten seconds, then it starts to normally degrade. They will feel no need to sleep, but you can tell them to go to bed. They won't stay there very long, because they are not sleepy.

Laura1up, the information you are giving about the dresser and lifetimehappiness codes are wrong. They only work if you have the Awesome Mod installed.
I just tested the codes with and without the Awesome mod and they only work with the mod installed. I just wanted to point that out so people wouldn't get their hopes up.

Denellej5 wrote:Hey guys,

i was wondering if there is a cheat (like in sims2) that allows you to have more then 8 sims in one household. im planning to create a huge family!!

If you make 8 sims in CAS, you can furthermore add as many sims as you want, once you move into a house, but make sure you do NOT use a cheat to make them pregnant if you have 8 sims (it will not work, it just makes them stuck pregnant the rest of their lives), hope this helped

To change their clothes, just click on a dresser and choose the option "change clothes" or click on the sims themselves and click "change clothes" and to plan their outfits click on a dresser and choose the option "plan outfit". And as for the cheat codes, when you are in-game click the sequence "ctrl+shift+c" without the quotes. Hope I helped

Thanks so much for this! Now I don't have to search on the internet for them.

Oh my goodness, I apologize. I had no idea. It's true I have the awesome mod.

Everybody: GET THAT AWESOME MOD. It is not very user-friendly, and I really hope you don't all come to me for troubleshooting help with it. For the average person is a PITA to acquire and install, but the effort is worth it.

I made a new family and kept telling myself I wouldn't cheat, but the mailbox was too tempting when I was trying to get my sim up to level 10 writing! It's hard work without the cheats, much more so than TS1. One day I'll manage it cheat free. I think I'm going to make riverview my 'cheat free' town once I've built SV up a bit more.

I've tried testingcheatsenable with true at the end, and all I get is unknown command. Is there another part to this cheat that I don't know about? Such as location in which to activate like the mailbox persay. Or maybe a missed period, or exc in the typing in code. Please Help?!

it's a little hard to see, but you should see a dark blue line at the top of the screen. type your cheat and hit enter. if you type in a wrong code and get a funny message, type "expand" and it will disappear.
