Chandra smiled at Victor. "I knew you'd make it out." she said proudly. "I knew you'd make it out too." Victor said with a slight smile.

I listen to them talk. I smile a bit, twisting the rings on my fingers.

((I will have no internet connection until Tuesday at the earliest. We're moving and the new house won't have internet until at least Tuesday, if not later...))

Chandra kissed Victor on the forehead and turned to Amaya. "Victor, this is Amaya. Amaya, this is Victor." she introduced. Victor wasn't smiling anymore. He didn't know this woman, so he didn't trust her at all.

"Hi." Victor said plainly. He only assumed his mother knew her for a while since she seemed alright with her but she wasn't alright with Victor. Not yet at least.

I smile at him a bit before dropping my gaze to the ground.

Chandra shook her head and mouthed "He just has trust issues." hoping Amaya could see.

I nod, seeing her silent words. I have trust issues, too. I just didn't realize what it was like to talk to someone else with trust issues.

Chandra nodded and sat down beside Amaya. "Victor, she won't hurt you." Chandra said, trying to reassure Victor he had nothing to worry about and that -she thinks- Amays is trustworthy but it's not working.

"It's fine, Victor. If I were you I wouldn't want to trust me, either. Not after what I heard you had to go through.." I murmur.

"Yeah, it's gotten worse since mom left." Victor stated. The violence increased dramatically, and that happened every time the alarm sounded which meant someone was able to escape. They wanted everyone to stay on earth, in that particular area and tried to keep Victor there also but luckily he was well trained and armed so on the seventh try he was able to get out.
