I must have missed your post about your tests coming soon.
Will be sending lots of positive thoughts til then, too.

Actually it was on another thread about the new Supernatural EP that they gave a tentative release date of early September, and I was being grateful if that is the actual date it goes out. As I know I will be super tense by then so I sort of figure that ep would be the one EP that could surely not make me think of this stupid test night and day. But it must be done for the doctor to decide if I am still in remission or not as that is where those cells "live" basically is in the bone marrow. They go into the hip bone for the marrow for testing. It is a major ouchee!!! I just mentioned the test there in passing as I really liked that date for getting my mind elsewhere. I dwell way too much I guess.

Rukaya wrote:DM, I dl'd GFH and checked it out. I love it. My problem is going to be deciding where I am going to place my Sim. There so many very nice homes to choose from, particularly when money is no object. The only change I made was adding a lot for the cat jungle, for my sim's cat to play in. You did a fantastic job. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing it with us.

Thank you, Rukaya! I'm glad someone is getting some use out of it besides DD and myself.

I've been building a house this evening. It's loosely based on one from TS2 in Belladonna Cove. Here are a few screen shots.

Interior:

It has an open floorplan, two bedrooms *cough DD cough*, and one bath.

I'll provide a link when I finally get it to upload.

There is no CC. The roof is a recolor by Tammy Trauma @ MTS but shouldn't transfer as it's in a package format. Always check your downloads with Custard!

Good luck with your testing Reg! You'll be in my prayers, as always.

You remembered, DM! I cracked up when I got to *cough* part of your post because I had been scrolling down through the pics ooohing and hoping it was going to be a 2 bd. home.

The house does check out as clean with Custard. It never hurts to be reminded that Custard should be used on downloads, just to be on the safe side.

Reg, don't keep your fears bottled up. I think fears can become magnified when one does that. Stay positive, I think it really helps.

I LOVE my job which is a good thing since it is what I plan to do forever. I have a great group of CPA's to work with and they are all more than happy to teach me anything I want to learn, and trust me to do things that they didn't trust to others that have held the same position in the past. I have 3 accounts of my own and do bits and pieces for multiple other accounts when needed. I'm learning a lot and enjoying it all.

I even have a bit of free time to putz about ingame. Last night I cleaned up one lot that I built a while ago. It is one of the largest homes I've built in a long time. I don't play large lots often, I prefer smaller to medium sized lots, but this one has lots of things to keep sims busy and is a good one for those that don't 'micro manage' their sims like I do You can find it at parsimonious, it has no cc, and no store stuff, needs EPs up to LN and the 1.29 patch. It will probably be the last lot I upload before updating to the latest patch. Showtime shipped today, I might have it by the weekend.

I'm also working on a redo of Sunset Valley. I've taken the lite version and fixed all the routing mistakes, and wow are there a lot of hole in the routing paint. I haven't decided what to do beyond a few lots and if I want it to look like SV or look like something else. I like much of it as it is just want a few things changed. I may never share it but it's what I'm entertained by atm.

Oh cool GFH is available! Great! I can't wait to take a tour through it! * runs off to download *

Thanks DM, I went to your blog and found the testing version. I feel a bit embarrassed that it was from February! Though in my defense I had that horrible case of bronchitis for nearly 4 weeks it's a weak defense, but the only one I have How is your wife doing? Did you get her her own computer for sims yet?

I won't get to play GFH till Saturday, I have 2 more assignments due by Sunday night and a power point presentation to get started on. Silly me volunteered to be the team manager on a group presentation so I have to actually lead the group rather than procrastinate until the last moment Guess I best get to the homework, the gnomes never do it for me no mater how much I wish they would

Oh, don't worry about it Simbody. Very few people bothered with it, but I just created it for me anyway.

She's doing much better, thanks for asking! No, she just uses this PC. I don't always play so it's not an issue. We are poor anyway. LOL

Good luck with your assignments.

Afternoon everyone

Welcome, Kamio. It's always nice to meet new people here. Everyone's so welcoming and nice that I'm sure you'll fit right along :mgreen:

Ooooh, I do like that house DM. I love remakes of TS1/TS2 houses. Although it's simplistic, it is very pretty & I like the colour blue you used in the main living space!

Simbody872, that lot is beautiful The colours are so inviting and cheery! And good luck with your presentations

Some of ye might know that I've been in LL a lot recently ... a friend gifted me it a while ago but only got a chance to explore it earlier this week. I love it - the sims and the lots are so full of character. I don't really like the layout though, and although those portals save space, it's annoying that almost every rabbithole is a portal.
I'm playing the Landgraab Clones family. I felt sorry for Chris for living with his clone mother & clone twin sisters so I moved him out all the way to that shabby "outpost" home behind the towering mountain. Fits right in.
I know I'm all a bit late on this, but wow, the moon is stunning:

Reg, I am having positive thoughts for you and of course you are in my prayers.
Simbody I am so very happy for you, you are enjoying your job and doing well. that is wonderful. I dl'd your lovely house. You are really going to like GFH, it has so much to do, and has so many tempting houses. Good luck on all your projects.
DM Great little house. Your interiors are always so well thought out and livable. I dl'd it and gave it a rec. I am sorry I forgot to ask how your dear wife is doing. I did read in your blog that she getting along much better. You and your family are also in my prayers. Recovery from strokes can take some time as you well know but with all the love and support from her family she should do very well. I understand about one computer; that it is all we have too. When one of my grandchildren comes over, I think how great it would be to have 2, but that is never going to happen.
DD I didn't get a chance to do any testing yesterday but plan to today after I do my ironing. Saw your post on the SS thread, so I know where you have already been.
Rflong your idea for yet another new world sounds intriguing. While I am not certain that I will get SN, it all depends on what it is about, Your world could certainly be the push I will need. Of course I said I wouldn't get ST and of course I caved in and bought it. I strongly suspect that I am addicted to the Sims. I refuse to get the Katy Perry SP though. Sorry to those of you who like it.
Welcome Kamio. How nice to meet you. This a very supportive and friendly group here.
Conor that is a beautiful picture. I am waiting until the store has a great sale on LL.

Hi Everyone...old friends and new! Welcome!

I'm just enjoying the photos and conversations. I'm on day 3 of an atypically long lasting migraine for me--from my allergies or maybe changing sleep patterns or something--so I'll be uncharacteristically to the point. More or less...

Just wanted to drop in and say those of you who need my prayers have them. DM my daughter asked just last night how Shelly was doing and if she still needed prayers, as she is in ours every night. I am glad to hear she's doing well. GFH seems to be doing well and is deservedly popular. I look forward to playing it soon. I did try and loved it on the old machine but as we know, that machine had issues. And before I forget...hugs to Chief.

WR, I empathize. My mom-in-law just finished chemo for lymphoma and I watched and worried through that with her. I totally understand this is weighing down on you. It is a long time to have such a thing hanging over you. Hopefully our prayers, love and friendship and Sims will help you through. I'm glad you're getting Sweet Treats. I am ,too, but not until I see it in the store. My front door gets horrendous sun exposure so having stuff delivered this time of year is kind of risking heat damage. I have a "carnie" family of magicians and acrobats who use those kinds of whimsical decorations on their lot. It's fits them so well.

RFLong--I LOVED going through your spring cleaning of files there and seeing what you had. Gosh what I wouldn't give to be standing there peeking over your shoulder to see all your old files. There's probably more creativity and imagination in your "trash" than I could ever muster up in one of my "treasures".

Amy so happy to see somebody loving and enjoying their work. I have some family members who take for granted and gripe about theirs and have an entitled attitude, so it's so refreshing to see a can-do and will-do and enthusiastic attitude like yours. I'm sure your employers love you for it and you will only find more success as a result.

Blessings to all! I shall return to lurk mode for a bit and finish up my lunch.

Thanks for the comments on the house and for the concern for my DW. It's greatly appreciated.

Nice pic Connor! Yes, the house is simplistic, but it was meant to be. Those are my favorite houses to play in the game. You can build elaborate homes but I have found they don't play very well.

Sorry I knew I would forget to say something with this dratted headache rattling my head. Conor thank you for sharing the photo of Lunar Lakes. I know at some point I will have to return and get my money's worth of this world. I got sidetracked soon after I bought it and never fully explored it. I admit I got frustrated with the lack of space to add wanted/needed lots. But pics like yours remind me of what I'm missing.

I've enjoyed so much the other photos in this thread. I like the little slices of life of the sim photos and I very much enjoy seeing the houses and lots and world photos and the creativity and imagination here.
