Also, are anyone's sims turning into long limbed naked (but not graphic) people. Ive seen a couple sims walking around like this but now my newborn girl is invisible except this long bare limb that only shows up at certain angles.

I don't have an answer for the first part but..
The deformed baby glitch is caused by CC
you have to remove:

Both top and bottom naked
Abbreviated Nkd in launcher

The metallica kids t-shirt

There's one other one that I don't remember exactly but make sure you have those removed or you will continue having deformations in townies and babies..........

BlueZim - Thanks for replying. That is actually what I ended up doing. I put in the week-old saved folder that I had on my desktop, then evicted that family (with the unborn heir). I then plopped in the legacy family from the library that was saved later with the baby heir. So I lost some updates to the house and income for a few Sim days to a week, as well as all the relationships outside of their family. I had to use Twallan's supercomputer to restore the relationships of the two youngest children to their parents, and the siblings that moved out are now showing as just half-sister and half-brother. However, I was able to keep the portraits and still recover the headstones of the siblings that moved out when they died.

For those having problems with glitchy vacations and saves, you might look through the help forum at modthesims or visit moreawesomethanyou. I don't plan on ever getting WA, but AwesomeMod does address a lot of the WA glitches. I use it in my base game and trust it to resolve patch issues within days (if not hours) after updating.

Erthymamma - It doesn't matter how the portraits look. I kept a portrait like that for one of my Sims who was insane. I thought it fit her personity much better than a precise portrait would.

I have written an article on my blog about my little Sims3 legacy, if anyone would like to look at that. I finished it on January 6th 2010 with a modest score of 60 points.

Hi AngelRuse,
There are some user-generated new rules for WA. Here are the links to the two sets of new rules I have found:

http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/0/130178.page#16477

and http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/0/137363.page#16460

Besides like the family tree thing you can see, it's just something done by players. If someone decided to cheat, it's just a loss for them in ruining it for themselves. As far as I know, it's not like there's some sort of great reward for getting a high score, it's just for fun :]

Can somebody please tell me. Must the founder and the heirs always stay - and die - on the lot???

MereSimP - The family house must stay the legacy house the whole time. However, after the founder has an heir, the founder doesn't have to continue living there. The torch has then been passed to the next generation. (You just aren't suppose to play those that move out. The active family must always be those in the original legacy home.)

Once the next generation heir is living in the legacy house, the last generation heir can move out. Most people move out the spares as soon as they have accomplished LTWs, had a YA picture painted, and/or reached 100 or 200k aspiration points. So, if they have already accomplished their LTW and/or earned 100,000 aspiration points, you don't have to keep them around.

Also, my Sims often die off-lot. They've died while skilling at the library or during a shift at work. I just go put the urn or headstone in a Sim's backpack and bring them home to the family plot. You aren't required to bury the Sims at home though.
