My Baby Disappeared!

I don't know if this is a bug or an on purpose, but my Sim baby was kidnapped! My Sim had a friend over. He was holding her toddler. When she told him to leave, he walked out of the house with the baby, it disappeared from the family and it's gone. A little bit later the game said that the toddler and her mom were no longer friends because the mom never called her but the toddler doesn't have a phone to call... and where did she go!? I tried to have my Sim invite her friend over again but he came without the toddler. I tried having the babysitter come in the hopes that the babysitter would somehow find and bring back the baby. Still nothing! She's just gone!

Was the friend a kleptomaniac? I've never seen that happen, but it could I guess. That's not cool - I'm sorry for your Sim loosing their baby! Does it still say they're related? When the baby gets older you could call them on the phone then.

Yet another surprising development in the world of The Sims 3. Try playing the lot of the neighbor who stole it, and see if he has the baby.

That's insane. Did you try to visit the sims house to see if the baby was there? That's what I would try. Or restart your game without saving, if you haven't already.

resetSim <full Sim name>: In the rare case that a Sim gets "stuck"
in an interaction or somewhere around town or gets something
stuck to it, use this cheat. It may take a while for the Sim
to appear because it is being entirely rebuilt.

That is totally ridiculous. How in the world did the baby disappear. Why would the neighbor take the baby? I am so sorry that you lost the baby. Sims should be outraged about this. If I were you I would call the police and news media!

hehe...this happened to me once too where the babysitter walked off with one of the toddlers. I moved my hole family and the toddler reappeared after the move! hope this works for ya!

Oh my goodness.... the bugs in this game are out of control! Why did EA even release the game? *shakes head*

Lol the babysitter stealing the babies. How funny; that has never happened to me and i have been playing the game for years. Well i hope you get your baby back. Good luck.

Yup me too! Babysitter took the baby during it's birthday party. No moodlet for that, the parents didn't even notice.

This has actually happened to me in the sims 2 also

This happened to me too. All I did was go to the Map and change the active family (without actually entering their house) then switch the active family back to the one with the stolen baby. When I entered the lot the baby was laying on the ground right outside the door. Just another bug! =P

Man that bites, seriously. I had a baby moment also. The babysitter walked off after I dismissed her, she literally vanished rite there wif the baby in her arms. One sec she walks then poof shes gone. Seriously I was screaming and yelln. But, then as fast as it happened the dad popped up wif the icon to pick up the baby, so I let him continue. He went all the way to the end of that lot and there was the baby, lying there on the ground. I was like omg, where. So, far only happened once...so far..rofl

But, I feel ur pain!!!^.^
