Welcome to Los Aniegos...

Welcome to my Los Angeles-inspired world 'Los Aniegos'! Started in early September, this masterfully planned project had taken me originally three months to create! Built with features from all expansion packs, it fully takes advantage of everything that the complete collection offers. The city has a starting population of over 100 sims (including pets), each fully customized and created by myself. Enjoy!

Here are some known glitches, and their fixes/workarounds.

General

1. Sprinklers show their placement bubbles
Fix: You must enter build/buy mode on the affected lot. Doing so will make the sprinkler reset to how it should be.

2. Fog emitters don't generate assigned effects.
Fix: Save your game and reload.




Problems? Follow this checklist to be sure things runs smoothly:
1 Is your game up to date?
2 Is World Adventures installed?
3 Is Ambitions installed?
4 Is Late Night installed?
5 Do you have conflicting mods?
6 Did you try clearing out your game cache?
- go to my documents/the sims 3 and delete the following:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- WorldCaches folder

The world itself is complete, but lots are not. Theres still a few more venues I need to create, and in addition i still have to write out addresses and lot descriptions. I also have to add in custom weather, and of course play test it out to make sure there are no big scary bugs.

It looks fab. Red County is a favourite of mine and this one will be even greater I'm sure

I could help with lots. I could make a poolside lounge or dive bar which is a Surf Shack(CC Free, Store free) or how about an Art Gallery?(Guggenheim NY Inspired, Sychloan Art Muesuem[architecture joke there]). If you need some help with any lots just give me a holla. P.S. I only only been 2 L.A. twice as I am aussie but just wondering, would you make a "Universal City" parody? (Glaxay Town?)(suggestion) with a studio?

I'm so excited!!! I was looking to this new world thread! I love your Red County and am sure that Los Aniegos is going to be my fav as well. Unfortunately, I don't have Ambitions, but I hope that the world is going to be still playable without this EP. Good luck with creating, fingers crossed!
