I can already see my house being over run with loads of horses and their foals when my game arrives!! I didn't know you could go somewhere and buy a horse from what I presume is a dealer, thats pretty cool also going to other ranches that have pets for adoption has got me so excited Ah!!! I am bouncing now that I've seen all this Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, and I'm so happy to get you even more excited!! Although that doesn't help if you're still waiting. lol Ahhhh! Foals!! That's what they're called. Thanks for the correction. Haha...you can tell I'm a city girl.
I have discovered all these features and I'm barely touching the surface. There's still so much more to play with, so I'm really looking forward to it as I go along. I can't wait for you to get your game! Cheat like me and buy a big ranch house with all of the amneties.

You're very welcome, it's my pleasure!! Haha you have more discipline that I do. I really wanted to explore the town comfortably (as well as provide a stable for Mr. Nunu) so I totally cheated.
I can't wait for you to get your game! It's already 5 pm ET here.

Awww, thanks AtomicSimmer. I hope your stepmom comes back soon, I know how painful it is to wait for something awesome like a new EP. Especially a good one!! I got mine on digital download. I'm super impatient. lol In fact, all of my Sims 2 and Sims 3 games are digital downloads.
You will love Pets, I promise.

I was totally anti-Pets. Until yesterday.
Seeing the beautiful screenshots did it for me, and I just couldn't pass up another EP that can add to my game. I figured, if I don't like it, I'll just uninstall it. But so far, I am loving it. *crossing fingers*
I'm sorry about your Mac freezing every 3 minutes. I had problems with my old laptop, so I bought a new one with high specs. Sooo worth it.
I'll do my best to distract your with updates. I really do hope you'll get to play this EP the way it was meant to. To enjoy animals and the simple country life.

Btw, when you said you seen a house was putting animals up for adoption; did you make that up or does it happen?
I'm glad you're enjoying it so far.
The neighborhood adoption is a real feature in the game. You go to the internet and it will show which househould has animals up for adoption that that. You can also place your pets for adoption if you can't care for them anymore.
That's how I found that ranch with the foals. I don't remembr if they were placing foals or Shep (the dog) for adoption, but I wanted Willow. Then my game crashed.
So now I have to check to see when the Fox family will have them up for adoption again.

Previously, on "Memoirs Of A City Girl":
Ch. 3 (A Beautiful Morning)
-Upon being awoken by the beautiful sunrise, I was glad to be alive.
-I decided to check out the town.
-I passed by the local hospital but didn't feel ready to get a job yet.
-The Fox family had pets up for adoption, so I was able to meet the beautiful animals in their ranch.
-I got to experience bottle-feeding a foal for the first time.
Ch. 4 (Just The Two Of Us)
"Back in Bridgeport, I would have already been doing my rounds at the hospital. Here in Appaloosa Plains, I am staring at a large bale of hay. I guess I'll have to spread it out if I don't want the beast to starve. After 10 minutes of pulling and dragging, I feel exhausted. My body starts to feel warm, and little beads of sweat begin to appear on my skin.
Holy ****, this is a lot of work!! How do farm people do this everyday?"

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it so far.
I may be able to squeeze in an update tonight. I have 25 pics left, so it should be enough for Ch. 5.
Then I'll be completely caught up with my game.
I notice a Pets legacy on your siggy. Have you started it yet?

Sadly, no. Pets doesn't come out here until tomorrow, though i'll make sure that I have it early so I can release my first chapter later in the day. I am so excited and reading your story has only made me want the game even more. (which I didn't think was possible!)

Ohhhh, you're in New Zealand. I wonder why they make other countries wait? It is to avoid the craziness? Your game will be here soon, just sleep it off and keep yourself busy with school/work during the day.
Will you be getting it as a hard copy or digital download? I always get DD's, I have no patience for the mail or the stores. lol Plus I like the fact that I can play my game on any computer and I don't have to worry about disks getting scratched.
You will love this EP, it's awesome. *Crossing my fingers that my glitch-free streak (aside from the one crash) will continue.*
Let me know when the first chapter of your story is ready. I'd love to check it out.
