New Patch Not Patching Game

Do you have any hacks/CC installed Sheotacon?

Hey all,
My patch won't install at all. I try to update through the launcher and the launcher just closes. I uninstalled the game so now I have no nude patch or custom content. I tried to update the game again. The launcher just shuts down. Is there a place where I can download the update manually???

Mine worked with no problems.

It seems as though mods and hacks break the patch. You will want to uninstall the game and make sure to remove all mods and reinstall in order to properly patch the game.

My patch installs and then the game crashes on the loading screen. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the ENTIRE game and installed the patch again, and I have the same problem. So I've lost all my saved sims etc but still don't have a solution?

Any idea that doesn't involve reinstalling my game yet again? I don't think I can face it.

Any CC installed Dancing? We're trying to work out if it's an issue or not...

make sure you also update your EADM

So am I unestanding that items downloaded from the SIMs 3 store prevent the SIMS3 pathch from being install. I have download nothing but those items and all I get is a message asking to patch every time I launch but all it does is close the launcher and never patches. I am running launcher as admin but nothing.

I'm moving mods in and out of my mods folder and it appears that the MTS skins work okay but the face-slider hack is something the game doesn't like.

I'm going to try the skin shine packages next and see if they crash it.

EDIT: The game loaded fine with the skin and face shine effects too. The facial hack seems to be something the game doesn't like - it kicks out during loading if this is present.

Yes but the patch does not appear in that.

I can't get the patch to download. I get the message when I open the game launcher that there's an update would I like to do it and then asks "OK" or "Cancel." When I hit OK, nothing happens, and the launcher closes. If I hit Cancel, I can go to the update section, and hit "update now," but that just closes the launcher too.

Now I did get it to start ealier, but it froze during the install part, and I canceled it because of all the stories that were spreading on the forums.

So, I don't really know what to do. Not Update, I guess.

I did a clean install. It changed nothing. I'll try again though. This can be so frustrating.

Obviously it could be something completely different, but I'VE PERSONALLY discovered the following:

- The patcher breaks if you have the no censor patch.

The game will kick you out on the loading screen with if you have the face hack installed (the one to adjust the slider range) - presumably the body one will also have this effect.

Removing these may help.

I also get the not enough hard drive space error & I've cleaned out everything possible & removed my mods folder.I doubt having custom content has any effect on "DOWNLOADING" a patch.Seriously someone just post a direct link for the patch.

What folder does it install to anyways.
