You're very welcome. If you have any other questions please do ask and I'll try my best to answer.

Yup, we're getting the how feature in a patch anyway. At least that's what I understood from Mike Cox's demo. We never got to try out the social features ourselves because they relied on a internet connection that was broken.

I thought the social feature was a sort of IM chat thing but it's more of just posting on someone's wall and getting a notification in game when someone comments on it.
I know this is the second time someone could not use simport because of internet problem. Something is up with that. I believe the first one was a review and they couldn't get simport to work. If at 2 different times, different places, they couldn't get simport to work, I would think seriously about what is going on? Does it not work or do they want people to buy it first before they realize this is not what it claimed to be.

So there's no msn messenger type window? I guess some people can take a deep breath then. Though I would've liked it myself. I much rather have a chat window than having to have convos via may page or other people's pages. For one they are saved and on display for the world to see and it's extremely annoying to have to go into the options each time. Also wouldn't you have to navigate to that person's page if you'd want to reply?

Well the first time the internet connection just didn't work because of something going wrong and their HQ that was in charge of the severs and such was in LA or something and no one was awake yet
The second time was in the Gamerbase in London so ... I don't know if they're meant to have internet connection or not but I did try and it still said 'The server cannot be found.'

Nope, just posting on walls. I would have liked the chat idea too if I ever used it.
You do get a notification every time someone replies apparently (there's a special tab now in the notifications window for online features) and I imagine you can just click that and look but, again we didn't get to find out :/

Simport is there selling feature. It seems to me they would want it working. It doesn't look very good that your selling feature on 2 different occasions hasen't worked for some reason or another. That just makes me very suspicous. Thats what I'm saying.

Oh, no, I'm sorry, I don't think I was clear on that. Sometimes I try to word things so that it makes perfect sense, but sometimes I just end up making it more confusing!

What I meant was, well, yeah, you can already perform on the streets for tips. But at a price - literally! You must buy a guitar, or a portable instrument or something!

I was trying to say, like, literally a hobo with §0 Simoleons, going out on the street to survive. You can't buy an instrument with §0 Simoleons! But with ST, all you have to do is sign up for one of the 3 new professions with the newspaper, and you're on your way to getting rich!
Yeah, you could also just sign up for any career with the newspaper, but that's not very realistic. In reality, no hobo would just go for a job interview and get a job just like *that!*

I'm just saying that the tips thing is just a fun little feature to literally create your own hobo story, going with the "rags to riches" theme!
Although I do understand if you still hold your opinion on that. I didn't wanna sound like I was yelling at you just then, I was just trying to clarify what I meant.

I'm not sure what planet you're from but most hobos don't make it big as a celeb either. You can always say for storytelling purposes that the hobo stole the guitar. You can even give it the klepto triat and have him steal it.

On the other hand in real life there are programs that help hobos shower, get clean clothes, get food, get a proper haircut and help them find a job and go to interviews.

That's not the point though. When it comes to game-play, performing for tips isn't new. I can manipulate plenty in the game for storytelling purposes that's not all that important.

I didn't think you were yelling and neither am I. I was just pointing out that your list needed some improvement.

Don't worry bunbunnyny I didn't think you were having a go at me

That is true, with ST you can go from literally §0 to riches but that small addition isn't really worth the £25 I'd have to spend.

To be honest ... I really don't think I'm getting this. I think I'll play with my Lunar Lakes for now

n00b, why are you attacking me whenever I say something?!?! I've told you that all I'm not attacking you, we're just complete opposites, and that's why I always disagree with you! It's because I honestly already had opinions on these things before!

I said before that they just start off as a street performer. I continued on from that, and once they get enough money from performing, they start to regain their life and use their living to make it to the top of their career!

If you mean the little item it's just a green mat with some golf balls ready on it and the Sims walk up to it and just hit golf balls into the distance. If they do a good shot they celebrate. No golf carts from what I saw, I'm afraid

And to answer your other question I forgot about (sorry ) the MP3 player was pretty cute and useful, since it gives a nice moodlet to them wherever they go but you don't see any headphones - just music notes coming out of their ears.

I do understand what your trying to say and I think your right Bridgeport would be the perfect city for that. So instead of making a sign "I work for food" or whatever kind of begging appeals. You could instead sing do tricks whatever for money. I like it may even try something like that after the newness of Starlite Shores wears off.
