Tangie, just tried the lot in Lynx's updated Sunset Valley and in Rflongs Mesa II newest version and no problem at all in either place. I even added your similiar mediterranean I had from a build a while ago across the streets from this one, as they look good together, and everything is smooth as silk - so I left them there. But as far as I see it's fixed and looking gorgeous.

JM I have no clue, as that was the only article I have seen about that and have never seen any new info. I have seen more articles on these same robots teaching and being used as Secretaries and other things though. You really have to see them as they look like live human beings doing a robot dance or something. Real creepy to me as they look too real for comfort.
I have not heard anything like that about Casino's in the USA though.

Don't know for sure if this is the right one. I have to install my caw to see!
Hi, Sorry for late reply, I thought I replied before. Not this one,I mean Longview II with empty lots. But I'll probably will do it myself.
Anyway, have a good day.

Tangie saw your redo of the Mediterranean house is fixed so dl'd it and gave it a recc. I am really eager to move my sim into it. DM all I can say is wow. You have got talent. Tho I have no interest in the new casino and the robots give me a creepy feeling, but your club is really something.
DD I know what you mean about SS populating so fast, I am going to put Tangie's Med house in and move Emily into that one and let some lucky game generated sim move into elle somethings Dream House. Then am going to fill up the rest of the lots with some houses and apartments.
JM I am happy to see that your headache is getting better. I used to get migraines and severe tension headaches years ago. Haven't had one in quite a while. I sometimes drink coffee with the full strength but usually drink the half caf or decaf. But I love the occasional full octane cup.
Reg I have never liked the sim robots or that invisible friend doll. They both give me the willies, like something from a Steven King book.

Thank you everyone for letting me know that the fix to the Mediterranean lot worked. I was afraid I might have to go back to an earlier save, and I'm glad I didn't have to do that! And thank you Rukaya for letting me know that you had a problem with the lot too. Otherwise I might have just thought my issue with it was a fluke or something.
I want to wish a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Pary. I'm pretty sure today is her birthday - so hope you had a lovely one!

Hi Everyone,
What a day, out in the heat and sun with my daughter all day, as today was a half day of school and the last day of school. I was looking forward to doing a little building in Ridgeview and some rearranging in Hidden Springs but now I'm too drowzy.
Anyway, thanks Rukaya I am better.
And duh...I forgot what I was going to say. I was reading and had all these comments and boom...out they flew as the wind whistled in between my ears.
Oh yes...Happy Birthday Pary. I'm sorry I have not kept track of birthdays. Gosh honestly I even forgot how I old I was. I'd been telling people for months, when the subject would come up for whatever reason, that I am 46. I could have sworn I was 46 and then I suddenly realized the other day, having done the math, I was 45. I honestly thought I was going to be 47 next birthday. Oh well I get to be 46 twice, then.
There are times I can't remember what the heck I named my kid and how old she is. I'd worry about Alzheimers but my mom and mother-in-law say they have those moments, too. I do recall being called the dog's name a lot as I was growing up.
Ah more memory kicking in, DM I love your Casino. I greatly prefer it to the EA one. The EA one is kind of gloomy and not very inviting. Your version is much more exciting. I guess I need to buy the EA one though so I can have all the proper features of your casino, though, right? I will have to wait then but I will remember to go back and get it when I do.
Aggh, not one of my better posts. Good night everyone.

Tangie and Gem, thank you so much for the really cute shirt. Very stylish for the young boy set. That was so sweet of you. It will surely get some use. I am trying to decide which of my YAs I am going to pair off, and have them start yet another generation. I need to keep the blood lines straight so it is taking some thought.
Tangie I am just glad that you were able to fix the problem with your house, after you put so much time and effort into designing it. I am really looking forward to finding the time to move my sim into it. Ah the luxury of a gorgeous home.
JM no wonder you get confused you are always so very busy. It is getting you prepared for when you reach my age. Just tell people you have so much knowledge that your brain is full of wisdom and it takes a little time to access the data. It works for me.
Happy birthday Pary. Have a wonderful special day.

LOL I love that "excuse" Rukaya. Alas, everyone knows me too well to believe my head is full of wisdom.
I am struggling to keep track of all the new lots and sims and worlds we discussed here lately. I hope none of the posts get altered or deleted so I can find everything when I need it.
My husband brought home 5 work computers he has to set up for employees this weekend so it looks like I won't be able to get his help installing Windows on my machine again. So I will be stuck being very conservative on Mac OS for awhile. Oh well at least it runs.
Well I gotta run. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi! You have a good weekend too, Jenny.
Rukaya you're welcome for the gift. Gem that was very sweet of you to post out wish lists. Thank you!
DM you're going to "make me" buy that casino set with pictures like that. You're PPE club looks great with those in it.

Thanks everyone!
LOL @ Tangie! I know how you feel. There's been a few times when I didn't want things from the store, until I saw some pictures from other simmers anyway! Sometimes a recolor or different setting can make a huge difference in making a purchase.

Thank you WR, I read it and committed it to memory. I already do pretty much all of what the first paragraph advised. But I did not know about the memory creation blocking mods. I wonder which one that person is talking about.
I appreciate you reposting that info here. You can delete it now so we don't go too far OT here.
That second person mentioned VMware. I already tried that. I did not find it a viable way of running Windows as it did not permit me to use my full video card settings. I need a true Bootcamp partition and a true Windows environment. Then the game will play for me exactly as it does on any decently spec'd windows pc.
Sigh, my husband is now sick with a bug from the office AND he has to work on the other computers he brought home. Definitely no chance now at all of him helping me put Bootcamp and Windows on my machine this weekend. I will have to wait another weekend.
I hope we get some time at home next weekend. I am supposed to attend a baby shower then, but there's some interpersonal drama/politics behind that and so I don't know if I am "supposed" to go or not. Either my attending will be a nice thing or cause world war 3. Sadly I think hard feelings will ensue no matter what I do. I wish my husband's family and mine could be normal and family celebrations could be uncomplicated happy events and not cause for grudges and grievances to play out. But...that's not the way it is. So...whatever. Just roll with it and look for the cake! Thank God there's always cakes at these things. By next weekend I am off my diet...so cakes of the world...HIDE!
