I overheard their conversation -no, I wasn't eavesdropping, they were pretty close and neither was good at discretion... okay, maybe I was eavesdropping- and I smiled, feeling like for the first time I had actually done something worthwhile.

(I'm actually fine with straight couples who are as adorable as Stewart and Phoenix. It just happens to be that my favorite couples are malexmale. And. I have trouble accepting most straight couples... and they don't make me have fangirl attacks.)

Bio: He and Cael had lived at the same bording school for gifted children, and stayed there by scholarship, not having any parents. He is very ambitious but gives of an air of not caring, though he works extremly hard at everything he does, and for the most part does it well. He can be a bit blind when it comes to delicate social situations, and has a tendancy to mess everything up, either by saying excatly the wrong thing, or by manipulating memories that shouldn't be messed with. He also has a way of letting anger cloud his decision making.

I sit in a tree, watching the situation, and notice Cael noticing something. I follow his gaze and see someone on the beach, but I decide not to go check him for injuries. Something tells me that Cael needs to deal with him.

Shouldn't I be dead, or something? I mean... I'm not complaining... but... I deffinatly should be dead right now. Or maybe I am dead, and death didn't provide the respite from pain it promised. My heart still hurts the same amount that it did the last time I saw him, and the same way it has hurt every since. I look around. Okay, I'm positive of it now. I am dead. And something I did in life, though I can't think of what that could possibly be, has landed me in heaven, along with Cael. I run to him, ignoring everything that advises me against it, and hug him tightly. He's in shock for a few moments, but then he hugs me back, in the way that means, 'I'll never let you go'. I expect it be like it is in the movies, but I end up knocking both of us over. I giggle -ignoring how girlish it sounded. I'm just ignoring everything except for him. He's the only thing that matters- and kiss him. "This is long, long over due..." I say softly, "But I love you."
He smiles, "It's been years since we've seen each other, but all that time my heart has been beating in your chest."

I lean forward, trying to see what's happening...

And promptly fall out of the tree I'm perched in.

"Oof!"

I land hard on the ground not far from Cael and who appears to be his boyfriend. My nose is bleeding, and it feels broken. I heal it.

Then I realize that I've totally killed their moment. My face burns red.

"Whoops. Toatally killed your moment there. Super sorry. So who's this?"
