I'll just post what i have been trying to do for the last hour or two.

I'm trying to have a Garage that is somewhat built into the house.
I'm trying to make a house where the Front door is
on the 2nd level and the garage is on the first.

The problem here is , i have built foundation AND a Room aka the Garage,
but i cannot connect the [Room/Garage] -to-> [Foundation] But
it won't let me because it considers it tile. So it
leaves 1 [ square ] open. Now this means, i can't have
a foundation with a garage next to it.

Why is this ?

Ok, now i tried to figure it out and i decided to skip the
foundation and just lay down walls. I lay down my wall,
get my garage and get it to look like the way i truly
want it. Everything goes great until i put the front
door in. It won't let me put in a front door on the
2nd level coming up from after the stairs, i tried
to put columns to see if that would basically
support the door and the rest of the flooring, but nothing.



One other note, If i have Foundation laid down, i
can put a Door on the 2nd floor, but not be able to
connect the garage/Room that is built on the ground.

If i have the garage/room built along with walling
around then i can't have my door on the 2nd floor.
I'm kind of in a strand as to what to do.

Can you guys either let us put a garage door up
against a Foundation, or some how get the door to
be eligible on a 2nd floor without have to put foundation down.

As for this, I'm not sure it's possible without using building cheats.
One suggestion, it's a longshot: have you tried deleting that part of
your Foundation and replacing just that part with regular walls?

On this one, I would suggest putting more room in front of the door.
I don't think one tile does the job.

it won't let you build underneath the deleted portion if there was wall on top of the foundation. i'm not sure what kind of building cheats there are.
