I have uplaoded a new version of the lot I entered into this contest. Here is the link, Single Story Family Home, Redo.

I fixed the bougainvillea "tree" on the right side of the entry so it will no longer pop up above the pergola when placing the lot. The dirty laundry and leftover food left behind by my tester sims will no longer come with the lot. I painted the kitchen and laundry room cabinets a cream color (I thought the wood was too dark). I redecorated the nursery/girls room and the boy's room. They were only slight changes to decor. I have changed the pictures in my original post to this thread and to my picture thread for this lot.

I would like to replace the original version of this lot with this new version for the competition, if possible. If not I understand.

I'm sorry, cwaddell, but I can't replace your original entry. Someone made a similar request a while back, and I denied it, and I really can't go back on that. In order to efficiently manage this contest and wrap up judging in a timely manner, I have scored entries as I received them. I just don't have the time to go back to prior entries and do it again. I'm sorry; I'm sure your changes are great, but if it's any consolation, your original lot was lovely as-is.

Time to go through and rec all the lots before the maintenance begins, I think! (I waited until today because I didn't feel like doing it in waves...)

Good luck everybody! The competition is REALLY tough, but I feel like no matter who wins, they definitely deserve it.

Sorry to hear that, RheassiSim. Hope you get your own computer again soon!

It's ironic that they'd do the maintenance today and for "several hours." I didn't want to extend the deadline on this competition, but I'm wondering now if I should at least give people until noon tomorrow or something. However, other than Texaskittykat's CC issue, I'm not sure if anyone else is trying to get their entries in. If someone is, please let me know and I'll consider what to do. Thanks!

BryonyRae, I am so sorry that I had cc in my original entry. I have edited my entry & reuploaded the house. The new link is now in my entry.

No problem; it's clean now. As far as the prize goes, if you would prefer simpoints, I could do the same thing for you as for luckyheather - 1000 points and then 350 worth of items from your wishlist. Will that work? You may, of course, specify the items.

Thank you for entering, MeaganJo! And that goes for all of you, as well as those who encouraged and supported the entrants. You've all done some great work - I've seen some very impressive and innovative things in these builds. In the end, I will have to declare a single winner, but you're all winners in my book. And I think I come away with the biggest prize, which is so many wonderful new homes for my sims!
