I asked this question on Creative Corner but it suddenly closed down for maintenance. (Hope it wasn't me.)

Frillen() used to make wonderful glass floor tiles back in Sims 2, but cannot find any in Sims 3, anywhere. I am trying to finish my pool/spa room with a flat glass roof, (it's for my vampires, he he). I want them to have a little R & R during the daytime. Hope it works.

Anyone know how to make them or find them?

Thank you.

That's a cool idea, but I can't help you. Sorry!
Wait, try this. It might work the way you want it to: http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=174309

I don't know though, they may still get the sunburnt moodlet. If that doesn't work, I know there are a few other greenhouse totorials out there too. Just search greenhouse.

Thank you Leegirl and allysonpainter, this is much appreciated. I was looking through many tutorials but didn't see that one on greenhouses.

Inge at Simlogical made some terrific Glass Tiles for floors and ceilings. One version lets in daylight, like windows. They're excellent in game.

Thank you Pary. I had no luck with the tutorial on the greenhouse, it didn't show how to place the roof. I saw "windows shmindows" somewhere but can't find that now.

Now I am going to try your suggestion.

Thanks again.

The tiles are in .package format not sims3pack, and only need to be placed in your My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder.

They are in Doc/thesims3 folder, but I don't see a 'Mods' folder and they are still unzipped. Do i unzip them? Probably. Sorry

Yes, you'll need to unzip them
