I have been working on Cherry Tree River for a few months now and it is finally complete and on the exchange.

Here are some pictures and also links to previous threads which give more detail.

Cherry Tree River is a pretty and traditional city which has a busy center, including clubs and apartment buildings. There is also suburbs and countryside.

A few of my lots include: Martial Arts Center, Church, Car Lot, New Gym, Butterfly Wedding Venue, Butterfly Pavilion Bar/Lounge, Community Farm, Hotel and Laundrette. (And many more,)

All careers, and standard spawners eg: fish, gems, rocks and seeds are available in Cherry Tree River. (You still need to go to the abroad locations for most foreign items. eg: certain seeds etc - although you may find one or 2 surprises at home in Cherry Tree!)

I know there are a few people waiting for my world which makes me very proud!

I especially love all the free space there is to place lots, with EA made worlds you have to practically get rid of 11 lots to place your own, or add the LN lots to the town.

Give me a moment to rec and fave.

I have left space on purpose - it is a fairly large map and as we know there will be many more EP's before the final release and I'm sure EA will bring out lots of new lot types, plus I know many people love downloading other's creations and making their own and(as Coolgirl said) it is difficult in the EA worlds to fit more in. The aim of this world is to be similar to and EA one but with the flexibility for future development!

Your pictures looked so attractive, I decided to download Cherry Tree River. As usual, I saved the file to my desktop and looked at it in Custard. To my disappointment, it shows the Neighborhood (World file) as red. Do you know any reason why?

Hmmm can you check that world in custard and find out about that lot. I dont install anything that that is listed as red or has CC. I have been bitten by CC badley so i am very scared of it. Your world looks amasing though. I love all the space because we as simmers can make it to our taste and expand on it. Great work. I am extremely impressed

I don't use Custard so cannot check myself, however I can tell you that there is 1 or 2 items from the Sims Store in the world....could that be causing it??
There is NO custom content. It's been downloaded nearly 1000 (and recommended) times now and as far as I know people are using it fine.

If I am totally honest there are 1 or 2 minor routing problems so I should have tested it for longer before releasing it but believe me they are minor and I have been playing it for a few weeks now and have no problems.

I have checked the download file and it is definitely virus free etc so it will pose no threats to anybody's game/computer.

The world files show up as red, it's just the way it is. Custard can't read the world files which is why it shows red but it can usually read CC attached to the world.

People, don't you guys know that ALL World's show as red in Custard. Even build worlds with nothing at all in them but roads and lots of various sizes for building houses on. In checking lots or sims files the red is an indication of problem CC, but in World files you use custard just to see if any content is present. If it is you will see the content listed and that content is what you look for to see if it has red or pink files, not the world file and it's thumbnail.

Check every world inclued EA's and you will see they are always a red file. Means nothing at all as Delphy said that her program was not made to handle a file as big as a world file - but it will still show you content correctly and those are the files you need to look at. Also ignor any file that says thumbnail - that's just a picture - but if you have any other files - then those are the ones you need to worry about.


To the creator - no store files are the exact same thing to the game as the files that come on the disk as the design team often makes content for both the disks and the store at the same time -and the stuff that works for the theme of the disk goes into the disk, the rest goes to the store. Store content is not considered CC, it's just game content.

Hope that clears it up. But for those worried - check all your world files with custard - they will all be red.
