SIFF Spring 2011 Wrap-up

One final hoorah for the winners of SIFF Spring 2011 as a transition from the previous SIFF thread to our new thread which will keep SIFF fans updated on happenings all year round.

Simatography is excited to present a new and ongoing challenge for machinima makers of all skill levels.

We are always looking for ways to encourage our members to give machinima a try, or to practice doing something different. Also, each round of SIFF we have an advertisement and promotional video category. To combine these two concepts we present to you the Machinima Advertisement challenge. Here is how it will work...

create any type of machinima advertisement - it could be for a lot or home (like a real estate ad rather than a home tour), for a make-believe product or service (like Honey's Beehive Catering or Woohooium), for your story or legacy, for your Sims fansite .. anything you can think of

each advertisement video should be no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds

it should come out like a commercial or ad you would see on TV for example

anything submitted between the last SIFF and the upcoming SIFF will be submitted for viewer's choice voting at the upcoming SIFF

we will share your commercial or advertisement on our front page at Simatography and on our YouTube channel

Shutterbugs Showcase will start up again next Sunday - May 15th.

A few times a year we host a general photography challenge at Simatography. There are 6 weeks - 6 assignments and NO eliminations so each photographer gets to participate in all assignments. In the end we will create a special Showcase magazine to show off everyone's talents.
