Welcome to Red Desert
It finally uploaded to the Exchange.
Large map (Mostly empty)
All base and LN spawners
Must have WA, AMB, LN
I did price a lot for the Legacy challenge.
No 3rd party created CC-- it does have the heatwaves from Al Simhara added.
http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=4055593
Remember, this world has more red tint then the EA desert so don't be too shocked when it first opens.
If there are any problems playing the world post to let me know.
I hope you like it.
(added)
I have finally uploaded the CAW files to share for personal use.
Mediafire link:

The world files have the heatwaves added.

Ooh, that looks really nice! You've done an excellent job with the sculpting and I like how you're blending slightly different sand colors.
Desert lovers are going to be in hog heaven because Simbody's town, Castle Canyon, is currently in testing as well.

I'm so happy you're working on this one again. I love the sculpting you did. It's absolutely one of the best desert/mesa terrain I've seen. I downloaded your Mesa Island to examine your Mesas, and ended up creating a little sim community on it because it was so lovely.
Editing because I can't seem to spell tonight.

Oh ! It's just beautiful, MD, really. I love it I'm sorry it feels like a struggle for you to finish, but at the same time, really grateful that you've kept at it. I can't wait to play it.

Oh wow. That is quite the rose. I knew who had to be doing something.. you were gone for while there. I love the painting on those Mesa-things! (is that what ye call 'em?)
And is it just me or is the only world that portrays a big-ish city in a desert? I mean, Rflong's Mesa Valley was a suburban town, and the Castle Canyon that Regina showed is lovely and captures that western feel so well. But this, this is different, and I like it a - lot.

Very, very beautiful. The mesas are perfect, the colors are gorgeous. You've done the hardest part, the sculpting and painting.
If you want help building lots or creating sims, I'm sure you could get lots of volunteers.

Oh, good. I am happy it still has its charm and I did not add too many trees or paint it too badly. The more I painted the muddier looking it got,
I will have time this evening to finish the spawners and effect, and then test the routing some.

Your sculpting and painting is really really good! After this world you should make a snowy Alaskan or Siberian type of world!
good Job

holy smokes you are good at sculpting. I love realism, and you did an amazing job!! I've never even been to a desert before, but that would fool me. lol

Just gorgeous. I love desert worlds, so this will definitely be one I want. I enjoyed decorating and building your little Mesa Island, I am sure I will totally love this one too.

This looks like it's going to be a beauty. Just like your other worlds. You should look at Al Simarha in World Adventures for inspiration when it comes to plant life and terrain painting. You can create little oasis's here and there for fishing spots, parks and whatnot.

Gotta love Nraas Story Progression!
