My latest build is a residential lot modeled after the real life estate Waddesdon Manor found in Buckinghamshire, England. It was built for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the style of a French Renaissance chateau, and today it is one of the most visited destinations of the National Trust.
On a 64x64 lot and at a whopping 1.1 million simoleons my recreation features:
9 bedrooms including a nursery
7 bathrooms
3 sitting rooms
Library
Gym
Formal Garden
Pool House
Large Kitchen with Pantry and nectar cellar
3rd Party CC free and pretty clouds not included
Download

Wow.
I've been looking forward to the finished product for a while now. I am speechless. This is amazing! I can't believe that was made with the Sims. I can't even pick a favorite part, because every thing about it is spectacular! Fantastic job, jisgr8!

I opened this thread and saw the pictures and was like, "Oh no, it's another one of those people who post real life pictures that aren't really Sim houses." But then I looked a little closer and saw that it was real Sim house, than I said "HOLY COW!" Moooo. This house is phenomenal! I have seen your preview pictures on your page and have really been looking forward to it! Bravo! Bravo indeed!
Just one question... the store items are no problem, but is it CC free?

I'm pretty sure "stunning" doesn't adequately cover it! One little old rec just doesn't seem sufficient, but it's all I got.

singgoutloudx - Thanks. I'm thrilled you like the place
lovingreds - That is so kind of you to say. Thank you for the rec.
jtman - Thanks for the wonderful compliment. I hope the faux clouds didn't throw you off. And no 3rd party cc was used. I originally intended to include cc patterns that improved the realism a bit, but the exchange didn't like the lot so I redid the whole thing with game patterns.
k2m1too - That's more than I could ask for thank you

I've been following the development of this one, so I was pleasantly surprised when it popped up on the exchange this morning. As always, great attention to detail. I can't imagine how long such a massive lot must have taken you.
Quick question: How did you get your outdoor photos to look so nice (in terms of lighting and skybox)? Even with the highest graphics settings, I can't seem to replicate it, so I'm assuming some image editing is going on there, or is there a way to get that effect ingame that I haven't tried?

It's really amazing. I'm not sure how you pulled this off by your self. I love everything about it. I'll recommend it and add it to my favorites. I might download, but I don't think I got half those store items.
A job well done!

This is absolutely amazing! I can't even imagine how long it took you to build. I love the pool house and the library! Definitely a Rec, and I wish I could download, but I don't have WA installed
