I don't know if this is a glitch but in my game you don't get the beeper until Special Agent level 6 (under Law Enforcement)

with that fridge that you get in the culinary career, you will get the moodlet "superior equipment" every time you use it!

I think you also get a limo when you reach level 10 in the Political career.

Also, as you move up the Athletic career track, you become able to do Advertising Deals and hold Autograph sessions at various community locations (not just the Stadium).

I've found that Workaholic helps in Medical Career. Every time I chose it, the Lifetime Wish pops up so, yeah.

aside from the ref, culinary will give you a free food processor as well and once in a while you will be able to take home an extra meal

Not sure if this has been listed (sorry if so) but another benefit of choosing the criminal career path is that you will never be burgled whilst working as a criminal yourself.

Also discovered something today that I think is to do with the Workaholic trait. There is an option to 'Check up on work' on the phone whilst your at home and if you phone it, it will give you a task to fix something for them through your computer... Well thats what mine was anyway. Not sure what you get for it though as I didn't complete it.

Aw, I chose the wrong starting career for my sim; I should have chosen culinary or science. Well, off to quit my job as the leader of the free world to become a chef and then a mad scientist.
