What I am looking to do with this thread is to create a large contact system for those of us who love horses and want quality lots that serve our horsie sims well. I've seen other threads that talk about plans for pets and homes and what not, but I want one dedicated only to horse lots that strive for a com unity with which we can draw ideas from. So come on over, post pictures and links to your awesome horse lots, share your horse savvy sims, and share your wonderful ideas! Please feel free to add me if you like.
**PLEASE READ**
Links:
Please provide a link to where to download your lots. Not everyone knows how to look up specific lots.
Pictures:
Please post at least one picture of your lot so that everyone can have a look at your work. Up to five pictures is wonderful...with high numbers of photos, please use good taste.
Quotes:
Please remove all pictures (or leave one if you must) when quoting people. It creates picture spam and makes looking for new content difficult. Thank you.
Thanks:
Thanks to both XxAkiraXx1 and cameonet1950 for their separate threads that gave me this idea. I extend a personal invite to both to come enjoy a horse centered building community.

To get started:
I have worked on a nice lot for a horse savy sim and I thought the players here might be interested. The property opens with a classic estate entrance and has three paddocks, stallion turnout, a warm-up ring, a riding arena, and a live-in barn (the home and barn area are separated by a breezeway). The five stall barn boasts hay storage, a tack/feed room, a washstall, a foaling stall and a full bath while the home is fully equipped for any horseperson to enjoy. There is even trailer turnaround! Room for flowers and landscaping, but I left it ready to be personalized. You could even plant grass in the arena and use it as a pasture. The warm up ring would suffice.

Hi Fethre! Glad to see your spin-off and it’s a great place for lots only. I posted my latest SSC contribution (story) a few days ago and received only one reply to it so far.
Anyway, I rec’d and DL’d Fethre_Equestrian Center 01! Wish it came with the cc! I placed your gorgeous lot in Riverview behind the Llama Memorial Stadium across the street from the big hay field on Pumpkin Drive.
My concern at this point is finding suitable FLAT land next to the street for all of them, especially the really large ones. And it’s difficult placing empty lots in “edit world” flush to the sidewalk. I’ve been lucky a few times but most of them leave a gap of green grass that can’t be filled in for driveways. SO annoying! Hopefully, the new world in Pets will have better street access.
Thanks again. I love it!

Hi cameonet1950,
I have a little trick when adding lots in world editor, I hold down the left hand alt key and move the lot as close a possible till it just turns red then fractionally back till it turns green, then let go and the lot seems to snap to the edge of the road (it takes patience and a steady hand)

Thanks Starbucaneer. I'm actually quite good at that, even twirling it around to line up with the angle of the road. Some “snap” and some don’t. I’ve also discovered that when you place one too close to a curve in the road, it will disrupt the road graphics and break it. That’s annoying too.
