The familyfunds cheat doesn't work for me

edit: nevermind, i didn't have testingcheatsenabled on XP

some of those cheats i have found dont work and it really get me. how can they make such a cool game and the cheats don't all work....like taking the sim back into CAS....don't work.

OR another issue is when i go to down load ....this really cool cop car from the exchange. well some that i loaded just didnt show up in the game and others gave me a message i don't understand.... "i have to get the assoiated premium content " what the heck is that? their was nothing with any of the files/pages????....to say i had to get a mesh(prem. content.)

SOLUTIONS TO GET CTRL + SHIFT + C TO WORK:
Sometime Ctrl + Shift + C doesn't work on some computers especially when those hotkeys are being use by another program (esp. in Vista). I haven't used it but I read somewhere that when that happens pressing Ctrl + Shift + Windows + C --works instead.

I'm having trouble with the 'Force All Events' cheat. Do i have to not work there? Because it says it can't recognize 'force' and won't let me click the building unless i enter a cheat. I tried clicking it beforehand, and that didn't work either.

Yes, this time i made sure i have testingcheatsenabled on.

Thanks for the cheats, the ones i need all work fine lol, well the lifetime points dont, and when i turn on testing cheats it says to ctrl+click next to ur point total and it adds 500 a click this dont seem to work either at least not for me

i enabled the testingcheatsenabled true cheat and right clicked next to the lifetime happiness display but it diden't get me 500 points does anyone know why this is not working

How else can I get lifetime points?

For anyone who has difficulty making the cheats work properly. This happened to me when I tried out many of the cheats given. I have searched some information up and found this out. These cheats were taken from the Prima Sims 3 guide. However, many of the information on the game cheats do not work. This is what many people have been saying. After doing more research, I have found people on the internet saying that the guide was ready by February, for the supposed release of the Sims 3 game. I assume changes have been made after February so not all the information is accurate.
