So apparently my *request* was answered sims can now use diving boards( i havent tried these yet but i've been told they are in the game),swim in the sea THANKYOU SIMS! <3
Hey guys, this is my first forum post so sorry if its sucky ANYway, I think in generations if you can teach teens to drive i think you should be able to teach toddlers/children how to swim, you could include those toddler swim rings that helps to keep them afloat with the leg bits in them( do you guys know what I mean? D: )also armbands and other floatation devices would be so cool! or if not just more swimming interactions , what do you guys think? again sorry if this was bad/un-interessting D: also THANKYOU for taking the time to read my post :3

That has the potential to be adorable It would be nice for the whole sim family to have some time with the pool instead of leaving toddlers out. It would be an interesting challenge too for those sims who are scared of water

that would be amazing, maybe for those who dont like the water, the pool could have shallow and deep ends so the ones who dont like water can just stay in the shallow end

Welcome to the forums!
I love your ideas. They're great. I agree %100! I think it's annoying to only be able to splash and hold the breathing contest.

I could just see the scared toddler break into a temper tantrum, kind of like when you try to potty train them and they don't want to

Welcome to the forums Darckat!
The ideas of teaching toddlers to swim is a cute one. They also so need diving boards. Maybe in the next ep after Pets, which I'm so hoping is going to be seasons. Who knows, they may even include swimming in the ocean. (Crossing fingers)
Oh and btw, your siggy is very scary.

I love this idea. In TS2, I downloaded a CC floaty ring that could be placed at the edges of pools to let toddlers play in the water, but I totally forgot about it till I read your post. I usually don't let my Sims spend much time in the baby/toddler/child age because I find they're pretty boring, but bulking up the cute interactions would do a ton.
Heck, even a kiddie pool would have been great, just something the size of a sandbox that toddlers can play in.

I wish they'd even swim basic lengths without me telling them too....c'mon guys, I shouldn't need to click all the time to make you move.
